Thanks Matt, still at it over here but getting somewhere....just wish I knew how to tune my favorite Acoustic Electric. Popped my B string, decided to change them all out so I could clean up the thing a bit and well popped the B again so now I got 2 of the same gauge strings for B but its still buzzing and making noises I think the truss rod is geeked and needs some adjusting...never did that before and my luthier friend is an hour away and now sure doing what during these times. Luxury issues here LOL But love seeing your boy riding his tricycle around there in yall's men cave. Holla!

are you teaching these chords to try to keep beginners interested in guitar? Many of the chords are variations of essential major chords but not the real thing.
Seems to be. But I don’t see a problem. Some people aspire to be able to shred all along the fret board. Some people just wanna be a campfire guitarist. I’ve tried 3 times in the past to learn guitar and just couldn’t do it. Finally, with the help of COVID lockdowns last year, I was able to teach myself the basics and have fun playing. My major chord changes are a little bit janky at times, which I’m still working on. But being able to use these chords when I actually want to try to play a new song, are a godsend. I’ve just wanted to be able to play the classic around a campfire and I’m able to do that now. But the “technical-ist” in me does get bothered sometimes. Lol
