Aluminum steering rack with servo saver aluminum clamping Nut makes a world of a difference
When you open your diffs put heavier oil in the front than the back but make sure the center is the heaviest so the front and rear wheels will have a push and pull effect

What's that noise? Is it tire rub or is it diffing out? Or both? You should definitely put some silicone diff fluid in the diffs
Tire rub on the body. I notice part of the body got chewed up from the tires
What are you planning to upgrade?
Got a few things coming including a sway bar. Going to also make some changes to the shock and diff fluid to see if I can keep that wheel down

I love the og! I want to love this one but I cant get there. I cant even get through a battery pack. Maybe after some upgrades

@@philthyco1 Yeah it could've weakened it a bit. Hoping he gets a little bit better luck for sure as im sure it's frustrating but all part of the love of the hobby I guess lol. Gotta take the good with the bad 👍

What broke on the kaiju?
The left rear driveshaft again.
It's those tires. Those large and heavy tires completely ruin the handling. They ruin handling on many RC cars, not just the EXT. I've experienced it myself on the EXT, Maxx, Revo2.0, and Xmaxx. It's the same issue. Only the Xmaxx is really big enough to handle all that weight. The center of balance between the front and rear comes closer together towards the center of chassis, and really messes with the balance. This is noticeable with quick accelerations and turns. Although the stock wheels are garbage(loose inner foam expands and shifts around causing warped tire), they are lighter and handle better.
I agree. I took these tires off my kraton 6s which doesnt handle great with them either. Although it handles better then the Ext.
I think between the tires being to heavy and big AND on 6s was just to much. Outcast 4s wheels for bashing would be best or as light. She'll come around!!!
I dont know, it snapped the same driveshaft with stock tires
@@therchotspot sticky soft tires and the pavement is the problem. The tires just stick to much. Don't like them. Redcat says 6s,too much.
@@therchotspot It seems this truck should only run on dirt. Tires are so grippy grass and pavement pushes the axle past its limits on 6a. Just my thoughts. The truck is all over the road on speed runs on 4s. 6s and no control over 40mph, that says it all on running in street.

Maybe them shocks aint got enough oil in or different amounts thats weird my trail truck cocks the front leg but its extremely OP 4 whats its ment 4
Yeah its weird. My Ryft does that but I expected it. Im gonna do some work to the suspension and diffs and see what is up

Bro i broke the rear dogbones just accelerating...Redcat for the money they're getting, seriously need to think about releasing something like this and setting themselves back. At $500 imo, this is unacceptable. I know they want customers spending money on upgrades, great. But we shouldn't have to spend just to enjoy the basics of the car or design. In the end they will lose more than they gain in fandom, and I would hate to see that for them.
