Stihl 046 vs MS462 vs a pair of solo chainsaws 65cc and 81cc

Solo 665 Stock 26.3 seconds
Stihl 046 Mag Stock (with Maxflow) 24.1 seconds
Stihl MS462 Stock 24.0 seconds
Solo 665/7910 Hybrid 19.4 seconds

Aight, I'll eat my words about the stock 665 hanging with the next saw class up. Still a very respectable showing for a 65cc saw. The Ported Hybrid 665/7910 showed how bad-ass these saws are with a little work.

That last Solo was eating! Do they still make Solo saws?

After AL-CO bought them I believe they are no longer in production. They moved toward more of a mass produced homeowner line of products. They were available in New Zealand for a while.
