New Orleans Square is my second favorite land behind Fantasyland. I really feel like I'm walking through the French Quarter when I first step foot. I really like the videos and the information you're sharing about Disneyland with us. I'm so impressed and I support you very much. Keep up with the amazing work you're doing!
This is excellent. I had no idea there was so much to know. This makes me excited to look around this area! You do an outstanding job at narrating and the editing is tops!
You’ were our guide on our first trip in 2018, and your our guide again for our next trip in March/20. Thank you so much for the fun videos. Keep them comin! 😊
Small fact check: brigam young didn't have a herse for his funeral. He was carried by hand. The only herse that has claims to fame is the black one in disney world, which was used on the set of john waynes sons of katie elder.
X Attencio no longer voice of the talking skull. However he was on opening day but the skull’s voice was updated and is now James Arnold Taylor the voice of Johnny Test and Obi Wan in Star Wars the Clone Wars
They covered up my favorite spot with a door, because they moved the enterance to Club 33? Grrr!!! Did you say 2,000 Leagues, instead of 20,000 Leagues? :)
I really did like it. You know so much about d land. Thank you for sharing. My son and I will be in dland next week. Maybe we will see you and your family We are so excited !!!!
I'm sick rn and I have a class trip to Disneyland in three days but it's just a cold. I feel like I'm dying but I'm going if I'm dead. I love your videos guys. I just got into them and I really enjoy them, very entertaining, and I come from a family of Disney fanatics so I'm very glad I found this channel.
I was very offended by the wind. ;-) Everytime I watch one of these, I think I know everything you are going to say, then you throw in one fact that I never knew. Keep em up. Thanks
The blogs are nice and you actually mentioned something I have not heard befor👍 You need a mice cover for wind noice. A little note, when you tell a story about interesting things like the bronze plaques don’t turn away from the microphone and please keep the camera on the object longer so we the audience can se it to.
Cool video Chris of pirates of the Caribbean and new Orleans square it has nice details on the building's look like if are in New Orleans my Saw it and family for the back in Orleans thinking of the pirates of the Caribbean was guys in side pirates of the Caribbean when Johnny deep was surprising people when he was dress up as Captain Jack Sparrow
There is a 3'rd graveyard but is not accessible through the line, rarely if you ask a CM about it they will show you. I've been back there a few times.
I heard that the Brigham Young/hearse rumor is false. According to a Deseret News article in 2001, the director of the Church History Museum said that "historical records are conclusive that the hearse couldn't have been used for Young." Although it's possible it still came from Utah. It's still a cool rumor though
I wish that I came across your channel before our trip. So many fun facts!!! Can you make a video on change prices of products at different stores, even the hidden products for sale. I asked for a bandaid ( A lady pushing a Disney rental stroller rammed it into the back of my ankle) the cashier said it was $10 for 8 bandaids by the Pooh ride.
I'm not quite sure where the Hurst was originally from, but it was in the 1965 movie "The Sons of Katie Elder", starring John Wayne and Dean Martin. It was painted black in the movie, Disney had it painted white, and don't forget the ghost horse pulling it, BOO! Love your vids!
Great video. I do strongly prefer the pre-Captain Jack Pirates, and even the pre-pre-politically correct Pirates. Also, I don't think the fireflies were there the last time we went (2015). We always liked the buzzing fireflies as part of the boarding experience. The Haunted Mansion is terrific. One of the best rides IMO, because it genuinely scared me as a kid, and entertains me as an adult.
Another grrreeeeaat job! If you didn’t know, or perhaps just missed; you didn’t mention the spiderweb break in the mirror on the wall high above the organ in the dancing ghosts portion of the HM. The mirror was broken by a pellet gun at some point but was too expensive to replace. So, a spiderweb affect was incorporated to obscure it.
1 mild correction, it does rain in California a lot more than people think! And if you live in Northern California, then you can really confirm that we get rain!
New Orleans Square, home of the famous street food Benye, lots of shopping and food, be like a pirate or dine at the Blue Bayue, or visit the Haunted Mansion.
Magic Kingdom Haunted Mansion design is based off the Harry Packer Mansion in Jim Thorpe, PA only about an hour from my home town! I've actually been to it!
The reason why Club 33 is called Club 33 is because Walt was a Freemasons and 33 represents the highest level of a Freemason. So there is a very slim chance that's not the reason but I figure there's about a 90% chance that that is the reason compared to them calling that restaurant an address of 33 when I don't think 20 or 30 or 50 years ago even in Texas they had two digit addresses they had three digit addresses. Besides all that from numerous sources I've heard that Walt was a Freemason so do a little research and you might find out that Club 33 is pretty much for Freemasons or that's what it was originally for but since Walt passed away who knows because now they're selling alcohol and Star Wars land which Walt would have never done and I guess they've been selling alcohol in numerous places in California Adventure because they probably feel it's okay because this isn't Disneyland but I'm sure wouldn't approve of that either.
Very likely, the address for the park was chosen as 1313 Disneyland Drive to represent the MM of Mickey Mouse but also has deeper numerological significance.
@@SteveCarras Thanks so much Steve!! I will be catching up posting tons of our videos including my wife on our new channel "Sutter's Gold!" Please check us out!!
