I’m just happy to get some more KH Lore when Missing Link finally comes out.
In Japan there have already been multiple announcements about this game beung opened for pre registration soon. Once on their official website and once.... Through a special type of cookie promotion where you get a KH card with each cookie... The JP KHML account also retweeted this propotion.
Though for some reason the English account hasn't mentioned that at all yet -and it also isn't on the English website-

Thanks for the update! I hope you guys do comprehensive lore/story videos of all the previous games so that old players with faulty memories and newcommers can enjoy the future games! Because I know your videos will be great, detailed and helpful! just like the ones on your other channel.

But what’s weird, KHML according to that new Wafer card series, is supposed to have opened pre-registration since the release of those wafers which was on June 4th, at least that’s what the add inside the packs in Japanese said

I really don’t want another grindy mobile game, I want a real game. Especially if the story is important
Yeah it sucks, I was pumped for union but I could not do all the drip feeding and grinding. It’s to the point now where I basically have no clue what’s even going on anymore.

One thing I do like about mobile games is the fact that they have a few story updates a year, so it doesn't feel like we have too much down time between releases. They need to pace it much better than they did for UX for sure though
There is no story. Nomura makes it up specifically to get people to play and hopefully pay for these trash mobile games. Kingdom Hearts's story will never develop in a meaningful or conclusive way because because it's not about the story for Square Enix.

Im glad that they doing test on the game. I want enjoy a game that not rushed. I relly dont care about release dates when s game come out im like oh ok that the day game comes out.

My assuming why square decided to delay by months the game because they are also working on ever crisis becoming full finished package. Either way i hope missing link is getting into the finish line.

I’m so over this series using mobile games to tell the story. They should have developed this for a console. Mobile games are too gimmicky and pay to play unless (in this instance) you want to run around forever outside or in a car to play without spending AP. That’s ridiculous considering the story of this game is integral to KH4 and the series as a whole. I hope this is released only in 3-4 segments and the main story is wrapped up in a year or 2 instead of the 10 years it took to finish KHX-Unchained X- Union X (So confusing to understand). But why would they do that when it will kill the stream of money for the game. Square’s leadership has been in shambles for a while not to mention Disney is really screwing themselves over in the last few years. Nomura needs to get it together already and start communicating with his audience before it’s gone. I’m tired of the radio silences for YEARS from them especially when Nomura is involved in a project… just look at FF15 which use to be VS. XIII. And Nomura was kicked off the project cause he was taking WAY TOO LONG and wasting resources and time for the company. 2006-2015… that’s ridiculous for one game’s development and shows the man takes forever to make a decision on what he wants to do. That’s not Square that’s Nomura. I hope they give us Missing Link by the end of the year at the latest and give use a realllly decent trailer for KH4 development. I understand the pan*emic delayed a lot, but tons of other people have come back and seemed to manage during it without delaying their projects indefinitely. I personally think it’s just a convenient excuse for them. The Japanese are amazing storytellers and game developers but notorious for leaving their audience hanging for years on things. Make this a good story and don’t convolute it TOO MUCH the series already has sooo many things going on and plot holes galore that need to be filled up.

Something I can't understand is how there are those out there who didn't enjoy KH3. Personally I felt it was a great game. If anything it made me feel excited to see the dark seeker saga come to an end with a good conclusion. So I look forward to missing link and all the games that came after to explore the new KH arc regardless if it's a mobile game. I really enjoyed the last mobile game.
Wait, why don't they just place the Missing Link on Steam? :'( I don't have room on my smartphone for additional apps! X.X
recently I thought how Fitting it would be for Square to team up with nintendo and instead of Disney characters to implement All kinds of characters like for expl. mario kirby or donkey kong into the KH universe I think it would come out super good
The mobile games are killing the series. Actually all the mobile games have sucked except that one.
Honestly, there’s nothing more infuriating than important lore getting stuck on a mobile game that’s going to be dead in a year or two. Then the only way to catch up with the story is cutscenes on TH-cam…
2 things,
1) games take longer to make because of how advanced they are nowadays. It's the same concept as making a non title games on smaller less powerful consoles. It was a way to get KH lore faster. Now a lot of people play mobile games so it makes sense to make them on that instead of having people by specific consoles.
2) money...
@LuxuFoo I think you just meant to say money. It's sucks tho because those mobile games are crap. Just to lead up to a disappointment like KH3. I'm speaking from a place of hurt man
@NytLegend I did say money. I personally like gacha games, but I'm a bit of a masochist. KhuX is probably one of the BEST stories told for the KH series. Gameplay wise, it was shit ngl. But Missing Link seems to be a decent sweet spot of mobile game and actual KH content.
@@NytLegend for years and years leading up to kh3 my older brother and I would spend hours talking and brainstorming about where we think the story is heading or how it will wrap up. Since we both finished 3, we haven’t talked about it at all. He hasn’t played remind, neither of us played melody of memory. It’s like we both unanimously agreed that the series just didn’t meet our expectations. Sucks.
After being let down by KH3, and now learning that a gacha game would be crucial for the story, I think I’m done with the saga altogether.

Fam kh3 was disappointing at launch, but after the dlc and the addition of crit mode AND modifiers the game is in a far superior spot than you remember.
