Lile i highly doubt it. Like maybe a world item give levels to the ghost could work or race change item used before resurrection. Or even just, using a super tier resdurection that loses no levels it just looks like whole spirit weak thing is because they trying apply -5 levels to a level 1.

The thing I like about Overlord is that we learn a lot about the backstories of every character Ainz faces directly and indirectly. Even if it’s just a paragraph seconds before or after their death like an afterthought. They are more than side characters, the author made sure we knew they were living and breathing characters with dreams and ambition; however they are specks of dust in the face of the void which is Ainz and his loyal servants
Well, even if they are specks of dust in terms of power, it’s fun and interesting to see how profound of an impact some of them can have. The death of King Zanac comes to mind with how disgusted and enraged Ainz was from seeing him get betrayed by his own men. Probably one of my favourite scenes in the anime so far.

You could have hundreds of npcs at lvl1 or you could invest in stronger ones. The maids are just a tier above the 'pop' enemies that the guild spawns naturally without any strain on Nazaricks resources. Literally anything from skeletons to liches (a mob that can be spawned with gold) is pretty low tier. Theres the various servants to each floor guardian (Demiurge's demons, Shalltear's brides, etc) the eight blade assassins, the deadly chandeliers (which im still excited to see them used) then theres the sub floor guardians, Seb who is the leader of the battle maids, a few select npcs (only leveled for specialized tasks), the floor guardians and then the players themselves.

When you read the monster manual, and put multiple meta magics on a spell just to raise it's level to above it's anti magic resistance. Overlord was actually written because the creator was running a D&D game, and folks had trouble showing up, so he wrote Overlord instead.
In the dub, when Khajiit got zapped, he said: "I can't believe, I lost to a girl in a maid costume!", which I find, is a very appropriate thing to say in that situation.
The scene was really cool, but sadly didn't make full justice to the scene in the LN. Like Narberal casually teleporting behind him to stab him in the back, just to prove that she could have ended him any time she wanted and that she was merely playing around. And how Khajiit slowly fell into despair as he little by little realised he had been trying to fight a monster far above his league. The guy was essentially mindbroken when he died.
Re-watching it made me realize how strong that guy actually was. Not even Fluder, the strongest magician alive could have destroyed his bone dragon since he was only a 6th tier magician.

Not many of the New Worlders were able to achieve this title, as the bar is set at the level 30-35 (of Yggdrasil standards). The only other Blue Roses member that could be considered as very potent is Lakyus, who is able to use the 5th tier resurrection magic. But you must also consider that Evileye is the perfect counter for Entoma with her anti-insect magic. She is the worst possible match-up for Entoma.

Also, she has managed to defeat Entoma, yes, but only because she has a spell that counters entoma and Entoma is not good at 1v1 and even then, she only won because the other two members distracted entoma, if it was a 1v1 EvilEye would have been killed. Oh and despite defeating Entoma, the three of them exausted their potions and curatives, so they barely won.
Not really. Killing them was usually the fastest use for them. Though disentegrating Khajit was an odd choice since the body is not there to prove the kill. LN does a better job showcasing the afterwords

@@LyraniaLothar Evileye is a 250ish year old vampire, so her limits aren't the same as a human's. Otherwise, Blue Rose got lucky.
@@LyraniaLothar She is indeed very strong by New World's standards, mentioned as "reaching the realms of heroes". Not many of the New Worlders were able to achieve this title, as the bar is set at the level 30-35 (of Yggdrasil standards). The only other Blue Roses member that could be considered as very potent is Lakyus, who is able to use the 5th tier resurrection magic.
But you must also consider that Evileye is the perfect counter for Entoma with her anti-insect magic. She is the worst possible match-up for Entoma.
@@LyraniaLothar She's strong according to New world standard, but she's weak according to Nazarick standard.
Also, she has managed to defeat Entoma, yes, but only because she has a spell that counters entoma and Entoma is not good at 1v1 and even then, she only won because the other two members distracted entoma, if it was a 1v1 EvilEye would have been killed.
Oh and despite defeating Entoma, the three of them exausted their potions and curatives, so they barely won.
I have a thing for her.

Not really. Killing them was usually the fastest use for them. Though disentegrating Khajit was an odd choice since the body is not there to prove the kill. LN does a better job showcasing the afterwords
