    Does anyone know if the coyote would fit into a 1988 ford f250 lariat.

    • @GrenadeMotorsports
      @GrenadeMotorsports  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh it'll fit in the opening but nothing bolts up. Same with every swap- there are mods that must be made. Thanks for watching!

    2 shattered 9" rears and I put a Dana 60 semi floater with Power Loc diff and 4.10 gears in my 68 and havent looked back. I pour over 500 ftlbs of rwtq to it and no problems. I have been interested in a Coyote swap myself. The 521 stroker is a damn pig

      These are the new hot setups! Light and very expandable. Lots of support for these things and more every day. Thanks for watching!

    What exhaust system is on this build?

    • @GrenadeMotorsports
      @GrenadeMotorsports  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is 3 inch tubing with mustang long tube bbk headers modified to fit. Then it has Borla mufflers and an X pipe. Super cool :) Thanks for watching!

    That's a beautiful old Ford truck man it look a million times better than anything you see on the road today and that 5.0L Coyote V8 sounds like a beast man (definitely sounds wayyy better than the Ecoboost for sure not mention it'll outlast the Ecoboost as well). Not to mention this Coyote powered F100 will make a lot of pretty girls shiver they're bones like no tomorrow mate.

    I replace my 9" Ford pumpkin a few times,on the ground! Roll it onto your chest and boost it in. Heavy as hell.It's really a difficult shape to place onto a floor jack. I MADE a platform for my Toyota differential that worked. The Ford top loader is much worse.

    • @GrenadeMotorsports
      @GrenadeMotorsports  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally! If I have to do it again, I'll make something like a jack that holds it, good idea! Thanks for watching!

    hi there I'm from Australia and wanted to know will the Coyote motor bolt up to the standard manual gear box as i want to do the same to my 89 f150.

    • @GrenadeMotorsports
      @GrenadeMotorsports  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will not match, as far as I'm aware. There are adapter plates available for the manual boxes, most people use manual trans on these. Ours is special because it's one of the very first 6spd auto, paddle shifted, in this truck, with this engine. Good luck and thanks for watching!

    What does this truck weigh? Wondering if it's a low 12 second truck?

    • @GrenadeMotorsports
      @GrenadeMotorsports  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We've never weighed it, and now it's snowing outside, so it'll have to wait until next spring! Thanks so much for watching!

      85 was the last year in the Bronco. 86 was the first year for EFI and it had an 8.8. That being said, I bet there were probably some leftovers that did make it into the f150s in 86.

      He has me film everything that's done with this truck. Months after the build, he loves it and has driven it a few thousand miles. Needs to bring it back to me so I can finish the Air Conditioning, but he just keeps driving it!

      This is a very good friend's truck. He says he will never sell it, but I can tell you that everything has it's price. We CAN Duplicate it.

      More than a brand new F150? Cause essentially that is what it is.

    Nice job dragging the ring gear across the dirty floor dude. Not in my shop... Nice truck tho!

    • @GrenadeMotorsports
      @GrenadeMotorsports  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll bet your shop has a lift and qualified help too? If I don't make it happen- it doesn't happen. That floor is fine and so is the gear. Thanks for watching!
