I mainly read the Light novel series. One thing i give it credit for is that its a story with a goal, progress is made with side stories and setbacks, and it ends. You might find this basic, but so many stories in Light novels fail at this hard.
For me, I really like Arifureta. It is truly one of the most entertaining isekai anime I have ever seen in my life and it's definitely better than most of the regular isekai anime that come out every season. One of the things I love most about the anime is the comedy, the comedy in Arifureta never failed to make me laugh even once. Not to mention the characters, who I find are all well-written and I got attached to all of them, my favorite character is Myuu. Personally, I consider her the cutest little girl I have ever seen in the entire anime world, especially because of her voice actress. Arifureta is definitely not a perfect or great anime. I know very well that it has a lot of negatives like the bad CGI and the weak production in general or even the normal story and expected events. But despite all of this, I still think Arifureta is a really good isekai anime and in my opinion it deserves at least 7/10.
@Yuuichi707 I agree. I find comedy in Arifureta one of the things I enjoy a lot too. My recommendation if you find the anime enjoyable is to check out the light novel if you haven't. There is A LOT of cut content in the anime and I find that a bit frustrating. The light novel shows way better character development of many characters. For example, I think Shea's story in the anime suffered a lot because of the fast forwarding of key scenes recently after she was first introduced. And hey, more missed content means a lot more comedic moments. I hope you find this helpful.
i mean that's the whole point of arifureta, putting cliche after cliche because it's a parody of it's kind since they use hajime otaku background as a foundation in the story lel cuz the moment shizuku exposes hajime copying gundam bits for his cross bits it's quite nice having more uncommon reference as a joke
@@VierzheTsuu Yeah, it's very clearly referencing other materials and using cliches. In the light novel you can find Dragon Ball references like "over nine thousand" and more. But those cliches are more on the side and it is also treated as it's own thing if you look at it in it's entirety.

As someone who read the light novels, wow, did they fuck up the anime. One: The CGI is TERRIBLE. No, its not bad, its worse than that. It makes all the important scenes where you can imagine a Ginormous monster, but then the anime makes it look like its from a 3ds game. Two: Hajime did not speak in one liners that often in the LN. He had good insights, and occasionally drop a one liner after clearing a major feat. The anime, completely skips that last bit and just makes him an edge you can get cut with. Three: The magic and the way it moves things in the anime is really slow. In the LN, its seen as quick and responsive, but the anime makes it clunky and slow, like how Hajime transmutes rocks being a fucking png of rocks moving. Four: I hate the fact the anime drew in all the "SIGMA" and "ALPHA" kids who needed an idol to worship. All in all, Hajime was trying to get home, just his chuuni side decided to reemerge from nowhere, making him edgy. Hell, the LN made Hajime seem like he didn't want to be "Mr. Edgy" with the mini stories showing more interactions between him or other characters. I still think the anime brings shame to the LN. The LN makes you think that he is cool and a badass, but the anime kinda just makes him lame and a showoff. What a horrible adaptation.
I watched this show a few years ago. Didn't like it personally. If you want something fantasy-related and really good fights I recommend Wistoria Wand and Sword. There are many typical fantasy tropes you've seen, like mages, monster dungeons, and whatnot, but it still has a solid story behind it. I highly recommend it.
Yeah, I read the light novel a few years back and was enticed by the initial premise of being trapped in a dungeon fighting for survival but it all went downhill after he found cube-chan.
I remember when I first watched this anime and then I remember I quit after episode 3 because the CGI was terrible and the personalities of the characters was unbearable it felt like everyone female wanted to fall in love with the mc and every guy was out to betray him and it got boring fast
The reason why this anime is my guilty pleasure is because the mc uses modern/hitech weaponry in a fantasy setting. In most anime, unless the genre is specifically mecha, the existence of guns and other modern weaponry are mostly shown to be moderate/weak or unimportant compared to the swords and magic whenever these two coexists in the same setting. I like seeing how our modern tech fair against supernatural, which is why i also like the GATE anime since it does just that.
watched the anime recap for this, was under the impression that the hair and gun style was the only thing ripped off from a certain other anime, turns out after watching three minutes of this that just about everything might be completely inspired incredibly closely by other anime
I have a love hate relationship with this anime. I know its bad. I know there are anime better than this. But for some reason I still keeping coming back to watch it. It's that "so bad it's good" kind of stuff for me.
I never really bothered to watch the anime. I mostly just read the LN, and when I ran out of volumes, I went straight to the tap of the WN. It's actually pretty fun. Originally I dropped it during the stretch between Raisen and the angels' assault. But at the time there was only fan TL of the WN for that stretch. After I got through that stretch in the official LN translation, it actually got fun again. The story is actually fun when it's focusing on dungeon delving, mix-and-match obtained skills, and uncovering the exact history of the world. It isn't the best things ever, but it has a ton of fun telling its stories. It basically is just Kichikuou re-telling whatever, because for some reason Kichikuou's exact blend of rage against the heaven has become the winning formula that a lot of LN follows. But it was done well enough here. I enjoyed it.
I was about to be like "HOW DARE YOU DISS LINKIN PARK" but then i continued watching and calmed down and watched the rest of the video after hearing you say "did make pretty good music". I just like rock as a genre and i love Linkin park so atleast he isnt insane.
I do love me arifureta. Reading the lightnovel was really fun. I agree the anime adaptaion is lacking in a lot of way. I personally just enjoy hearing the characters voiced and seeing some of the locations and scenarios from the novel put to picture. I also would argue that arifureta isnt to be taken seriously in the first place. It is at its core a comedy anime more then anything with an edgy plot that happens in the background. The best part of the novel is the afterstory. Which is mostly just the author shitposting. There is a lot to like about Yue to like that isnt related to Hajime, even if that dosnt come out in the anime much. Shes a kuudere, increadibly talented at controlling people and she has a high sense pride and responsability. What i find most interesting is that (and that only really comes through in the novel) is that she actually behaves like a 23 year old woman. (323 actually but the years she was sealed dont count) She is the dominant part in the relationship and also mostly controlling Hajimes action. Most of what he does is because Yue wills it so. Which is understandable, since she is a 23 year old very controlling woman who essentially (and that is written as such in the novel) groomed the 16 year old Hajime and brought him under her control mostly through sex lmao. Also interesting. Hajime dosnt know much about engineering at all. The humvee for example (that is explained in the novel) isnt really anything more then a metal box with wheels, powered by magic to move forward. There is no engineering involved. Its also the reason why he made a revolver in the dungeon. He did not have the technical knowledge required to build a semi automatic pistol, so the most he could do was build a revolver cause the mechanism is much more simple. Any cool technical thing he builds after he gains the Power of the first Labyrinth arent actually technical things at all. They are magical artifacts, that work the way they do because of the magic he chains together to make them work that way. Here the things he learned with his parents actually come in helpful, since the only limits of that artifact creating powers are his imagination. So if he knows what a humvee looks like, he can make a vehicle that looks like one. And he just needs the understanding of, a car is something that moves forward, can be steered with a steering wheel and has a pedal to control velocity, he can implement magic to fullfill these function, there is no engineering involved.

I hope you find this helpful.
i mean that's the whole point of arifureta, putting cliche after cliche because it's a parody of it's kind since they use hajime otaku background as a foundation in the story lel
cuz the moment shizuku exposes hajime copying gundam bits for his cross bits it's quite nice having more uncommon reference as a joke
@@VierzheTsuu Yeah, it's very clearly referencing other materials and using cliches. In the light novel you can find Dragon Ball references like "over nine thousand" and more. But those cliches are more on the side and it is also treated as it's own thing if you look at it in it's entirety.
Lmao no, this anime suck ass like a vacuum cleaner,
but taste is just like having working legs, some people have it some don't
@@VierzheTsuu tf you on about, a parody? lmaooooo a parody doesnt take itself serious like this garbage does, and they usually have something to say, this has nothing
its just crap
Only three views in 15 seconds? Slow day
I fell off

I read that as "Only three wives in 15 seconds"
I just started this last night and i was thinking “oh it has 3 seasons it’s probably fine” now I’m 4 episodes in and I’m trying to figure out how in the world it got 3 seasons
high demand from edgy teens and adult degens
Your videos are always 10/10 i love the humour!!!
"reloading is a luxury, not a necessity" it really hits me
its like most of filipino action gun fights scene. i rarely see them reloading.
they could wipe an army without reloading. (is pressing 'R' key to reload isnt that hard?
I saw this one clip of hajime stomping on a rabbit without knowing anything about the show that was funny af
Edgy and impressive anime
10:45 i know that player layout... THE GREAT PIRATE ERA CONTINUES
Yay, you made it 100,000 congratulations man you’re super funny. Keep on keeping on.
I recently read the manga and the action is ok, but the harem scenes are... definitely something. 5/10 read, could've been worse
read the ln

@@V3RAC1TYdon't. It is also bad.

The only edgiest Anime character i imagined:
A dude with black hair and hair bang look like H-Anime protagonist hairstyle
Wearing black suit
Always do Heavy metal hand sign
Smirk whatever he want when he find target
This is one of the wildest comment sections I have ever read through. Honestly, the comments are just as amusing as the video itself.
1:34 Then theres Drifters, the more reasonable isekai. Not sure the world was better for it tho 🗿
cant even lie though. i really enjoyed the final dungeon in the novel (the ice one).
I believe the gods have personally recommended me this video because yesterday i was looking for this anime
This is the first video I've seen from you and I gotta say that you have the sort of voice perfect for an anime channel.
I actually recommended this anime to my friends and the few family members of mine who actually watch anime, but it was only the first three episodes as it was currently ongoing, by episode six I had to contact every single mf I recommended it to, to not watch it.
ye i needed this more than i thought i did
16:00 leaving in the mariostien comment is gold, bruh my first video from you and this shit got me geekin. Im def a fucking Unc but i might just watch this with the groupchat just to laugh the whole time
As someone who read the light novels, wow, did they fuck up the anime.
What a horrible adaptation.
when we needed him the most... he came back
I watched this show a few years ago. Didn't like it personally. If you want something fantasy-related and really good fights I recommend Wistoria Wand and Sword. There are many typical fantasy tropes you've seen, like mages, monster dungeons, and whatnot, but it still has a solid story behind it. I highly recommend it.
Ts was so fire when I was in middle school. Recomend this to any guy under 15 you'll love it.
Naofumi & Hajime
Best friends
7:03 this is the best joke of the video
Lunar would you ever consider watching Sasaki to Miyano?
I remember watching this and literally dropping it after I saw the first 5 episodes lmao
Yeah, I read the light novel a few years back and was enticed by the initial premise of being trapped in a dungeon fighting for survival but it all went downhill after he found cube-chan.
When you said a creature taken out of Final Fantasy 9
That includes Graphics-wise XD
14:07 There is a good half?
I remember when I first watched this anime and then I remember I quit after episode 3 because the CGI was terrible and the personalities of the characters was unbearable it felt like everyone female wanted to fall in love with the mc and every guy was out to betray him and it got boring fast
Eminence in Shadow mentioned lesgoooo
Your opening just gave me the greatest idea for an isekai. 😂 😂
To be fair I liked this story in the beginning. He was getting beaten pretty badly.
And then he finds Yue and I drop it like a trash it is
The reason why this anime is my guilty pleasure is because the mc uses modern/hitech weaponry in a fantasy setting.
Yo lunar I started an anime channel and posted weekly but my views didnt improve what should I do???????
Upload a lot thats what I did when I started 3 videos a week and use tik tok and shorts to push content out more
The fact that Jimmy doesn't even GET an Intelligence stat
watched the anime recap for this, was under the impression that the hair and gun style was the only thing ripped off from a certain other anime, turns out after watching three minutes of this that just about everything might be completely inspired incredibly closely by other anime
Holy s***, I don't remember the CG being this horrible!!!
Maybe I was on an edgyness streak
Arifureta is a MASTERPIECE!!!😊
4:23 plot armor and bad writing now gimme the skin
Plot armor is a thing in every piece of media ever, even good ones
I have a love hate relationship with this anime. I know its bad. I know there are anime better than this.
But for some reason I still keeping coming back to watch it. It's that "so bad it's good" kind of stuff for me.
First of *GOOD JOB ON 100K LUNAR*
Second, have you heard of Tsukimichi?
dang 100k, congrats.
Just hit 100k🎉
Congrats on hitting 100k!
It's the harem narrative that drives that show for sure
1:45 this is a fair criticism but did you watch the Black Knight starting martin Lawrance it's a think from the USA.
I take offense on the "Linkin Park not making good music" lol
(323 actually but the years she was sealed dont count)
She is the dominant part in the relationship and also mostly controlling Hajimes action.
Your growth since the El Melloi video has been great Congratulations for when you hit 100k subs.
CONGRATS ON 100k !!!!!
I am shocked people were able to get through this CGI slop where every issue has a deus ex machina prepared offscreen
5:30 the fact I had created an oc like that like 2 mins before this bit lol
I watched like the first season of this anime a few months ago, thought it was okay as far as Isekai go, then completely forgot about it's existence
