No different than a hot rod car.... Check out the 8000+ hp "Problem Child" dragboat. Many videos on youtube. When you want to go fast or quick "big boats" are not better. Big equals heavy which is the same in the automotive world.
nice concept for a boat = basically a giant BIG BLOCK with a guy that steers & a little 9 1/2 to 10 ft piece of fiberglass HAULS some serious ASS though!
We dumped the big block and just incredible fast and B Bocks work great - but Something about a SBC built for speed - LoaDs of fun and extremely fast - we would get people with 114 mph liquid quarter mile time slip and- passing that boat 🚣♂️ by 5 boat lengths
@@663rainmaker An friend of mine had a 16' Sanger with a 400 cu in SBC back in the 1980s. That thing hauled ass, especially when he kicked in the nitrous. Scary fast.
Just COOL WORKS of ART and SPEED SCIENCE...THANKS
The fastest i have ever been on the water is 99 mph. These guys are nuts!
~3:00 "piston, you may. Ow kiss the valve".
Nice Video. Thanks for posting.
well my length figures were way off but anyway its still not a very long boat when you consider it has well over 500 HP!
These boats are 18 feet long. A foot longer (and then some) than a 57 Chevy Bel air...Not small in my book.
