Try Neem oil, instructions on TH-cam, how to make the oil from the Neem tree, in Florida I buy the oil to spray the bugs and it is organic from the tree, so you are able to eat your vegetables without concerns

So I compromised and insist that my back gate be wider. Exactly what I told them I was trying to prevent happened. Always go with your gut instinct when building.

Make an agreement with them on your next sand and gravel trip to subtract the cost to repair the damage and perhaps someone can monitor how close they get to your entrance walls to avoid such damage in the future. I hate to micro manage workers around my house but at times you have to. Have a beautiful earth day and feel better. Try to grow moringa on your land; exceptional benefits.
I am not there to micromanage at all but I left for a short time and came back to a pillar broken. One of the biggest challenges that the continent of Africa has is people not being accountable for their actions. Which is why there is so much corruption in there systems.
They could at least work out a deal with you if you bring it to their attention, since you are a returning customer and will still need their services. Sheesh!

I cut back on bread, eggs, red meat and whole milk (and a few other things) ten years ago. I take a short walk or exercise with tv (10 minute walk youtube) once or twice a week. I didn't think I could do it but, it has worked. When you move in your place you can get lots of exercise taking care of your crops in your large yard and eating your organic foods. Love it, can't wait. Enjoy you adventure it's fascinating.

Regarding the wall.....I think you should try and at least get some short of credit for your next delivery.... Alot still to do on your project, so you may still need their services in the future... keep the relationship and have them give u some sort of credit even if it's not much

mistakes happen, I understand that one of the workers broke some of your property, but I sincerely advise for you to forgive them and let this situation go, You should warn them to not let it happen again. If you are to make them pay for damage that is very manageable, I fear it may backfire onto you later on, as you need to make a better connection with your community and forcing them to pay for the damage will most definitely affect that. I like what you have done so far and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
I heard you mentioned that the delivery driver work for the company which supplies you sand, stones and some other building materials...in order for you to continue with this business relationship, i think you can let this damage go...I've watched it and it's not too extensive... You're letting it go just to maintain the relationship and believe me they'll treat you good.. I'm a Ghanaian and I know the culture... Stay blessed you both

I believe in respecting other people's customs, but respect is on both sides, it makes no good sense for Ghanians to keep repeating to let things go it is culture . Doing wrong is not cultural it entitled negligence with no recompensation. We need to practice good clientele relations to make our business strive. These practices are what build up the White, Asian and others to make billions. We cant keep using cultures to excuse all things wrong.
