Yes yes yes! Ever since the song was released I was just waiting for this. Then today I saw Leo doing the bass cover and said to myself "Yeah the guitar would be here soon" and then an hour later I see this lol. God bless you Max! I still don't think I am at a level to play this song yet, those extended power chords are a pain in my third eye xD But I will still attempt nonetheless, specifically the silent bridge section. Sounds very Pneuma/FI like and I recently heard it in one of the live concert videos and sounded so cool. Turns out its literally 3 chords hah! Anyway stellar job as usual on the playing AND the tone. Loved those bends man! Very exciting whenever you post :D P.s. Dude also props on the very relevant video footages you add in the beginning. In the earlier days I used to think you just randomly add some footage but then in your Right in Two cover when I saw the monkeys, I realized that the footage is totally within context and deliberate. Same with the Holy Trinity. This probably is a tiny detail but its pretty cool! I will stop now xD

And the other thing is - maybe you could consider doing video tutorial focused on guitar techniques f.e. bending, vibrato, pull off, hammer on, and all the Jones tricks that you use during the covers? I know that I would pay for this, and I am sure not only me. You wouldn't even have to talk on these vids, you could only show how to play given technique. I take private lessons just to play like you and each and every time I make a cover using your videos, Im learning something new - I would gladly learn from you instead of other teachers. You could make a series or one video with all the techniques and tips on how to play Tool songs for a fifty or hundret bucks or so and I think most of people would pay. Just a thought!

Excellent work as always Max. I do want to add a piece of constructive criticism though, in the bridge section, it sounds like Adam uses a dotted 8th note delay and maybe even a bit of shimmer reverb (if it isn’t keys making that ambient sound in the background). When he adds more gain it also sounds like he puts a very light flanger into the mix.
Saw them do this version @Monster Mash in 2015. So glad they made a studio version. Interlude is sick Definitely like the new Gibson you got too! Sounds great
Great cover, the only thing I’d say is maybe in future could you make the line following the tab a bit bolder? It’s a bit hard to see on mobile. Cheers though max 👌
