Usually I don't mind typing the pinyin on the papers, but lately I'm too tired to format the document and type out. I'm confused. Xodo is not free. You have to sign up for a trial, enter your cc info, and then remember to make sure you cancel before you're charged. This is misleading. :(

This doesn't tell me how to save it so my students can write on it. Do they need the program as well. Can I post it in the virtual space they go to and can they access the typing feature so they can do the work? I am not as tech savvy as most people.

Have your students open pdfs with Microsoft Edge browser for the easiest way to write on pdfs. "right click" and "open with" Edge. Students can then save the pdf. If your students require more tools, then yes, they should install the program.
