    I would lose the chorus AND the looper. (Just have a dedicated looper separate from it, if you use one). Keep its simple. I would prefer to focus mainly on the acoustic sound balance/eq only with a touch of reverb. Helpful video. Thanks.

    First let me say I like your run-through of this pre amp. I just bought me one at Thomann and I can send it through my NU-X DuoTime delay. I have two acoustic guitars, one is a fretless Spanish Valencia with an under the saddle passive Fishman (piezo) pickup. The other one is a Tanglewood with a battery inside it. I have more than these two guitars.... A Martin D76 bicentennial limited edition, a Martin 000-17 whiskey sunset, a Alhambra Fc 7 flamenco guitar and some electric custom builds guitars & bass guitars. But again, your review is just the thing I needed to let me buy this pre amp for in my studio. Thanks a lot👍🏽🙏

    Sounds great - thanks for the review! I’ve been using a Boss Katana 50 for a few years (to great affect) but I’m considering this so that I can leave the katana set up at home. Is there a way of running a monitor directly out of the preamp as well as the DI out to the desk? For example, does the headphone out override the DI out?

      @aaronshortmusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the pickup that you are using. They are also quite different pedals. If you have an undersaddle pickup that doesn’t inspire you at all then I would say the Optima Air and if you have a very good sounding pickup already then I would suggest the Stageman.

      @@aaronshortmusic this time is also the case on the NU-X DuoTime dual delay engine. You'll get creative enough in one minute, sometimes less is more. I used to have a Ditto X4 looper which has the possibility to record 2x5 minutes or 10 minutes, but since I have soooo many after recording options like a Rødecaster pro, a Tascam model 12, and also the possibility to record it directly into Studio One 5 professional I consider this "doing a shorty delayed recording" as a welcome luxury tool investment to use on the fly.

    I have a passive pickup. And I have a fishman loudbox acoustic amp....Which then goes into a PA.....I use an eq and a little compression to boost and shape the signal in that chain. I’m so torn about this pedal. Would it be redundant to plug my acoustic into this, AND FROM THERE, on into the acoustic amp? Or is this just for going straight into the PA? Thanks in advance

    • @aaronshortmusic
      @aaronshortmusic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Since you already have a preamp/EQ/compression and reverb the Stageman Floor would be a little redundant. Having said that, it is OK to double up if needed as the two devices have different specs and can be used together. You really need to try it to see if it improves upon the sound you are getting already.
