Man videos like this make me wish I had sand toys to take out to the dunes. I have an 88 Bronco II project that's waiting for a V8 and long travel but its been sitting for almost 10 years now.
Awesome montage. It's so hard to explain to those that have never been desert camping/riding how bad ass it is. Riding, BS'ing, BBQs, sitting by the camp fire telling stories and talking shit. There is nothing else like it.
Always wanted to go to glamis!! I used to buy dirtwheels magazine in the eighties and early nineties. I raced quads at southwick with a friend. 250 quads. The good old days!!!!🤘🏼🦅❤️🇺🇸
Man.... This content is TOO good. I havent been there in a good while, probably around 6-7 years now, but this got me wanting to put the ol 86 trx 310 back in the sand where it belongs. I know the feeling about the buggy rides, especially a long travel power house. I'm talking the wife into a roller and building the rest slowly next year. I own two trucks now, and getting into an Alliance Valor this year when the time is right. New 2022 models are reasonably priced, but interest is too high atm. Buggy time next year, and maybe I'd feel more safe. I don't trust my wife being on her 400ex with all that traffic. Its just so freaking busy these days, I cant believe it. I'm 42, you were probably a baby when I was going regularly 25 years ago. Seems overwhelmingly busy on the big weekends. Recommend and know when it's not? Dude, I watched the whole way through, vid is on point and definitely worthy of a subscription. We'll make our way out from Moab Utah soon. This vid got me reminiscing the old days. First trip with our new hauler to break it in will be in mother G. Rad video brother, I NEVER watch an hour worth of anyone's shit on youtube. This was action packed, breaks to show camp life, and the crew. Makes me remember the old days of being a dessert head. The mention of safety meetings and dez lingo sure brings back old times. Like and a massive comment for the algorithm! I'll be tuned in, thanks for posting these!
🎯 I was there pre 2000, was a great place and safe. Now it's a total shit show. I went on an off weekend about 6 years ago, and we were the only ones out there. Too hot for everyone else. I miss it though, I get goose bumps watching the night shots as it reminded me of the new years trip at the turn of the century in 2000. Miss the old days... Big time.
@@mrjim3806yeah, the sand here in the video was nothing but pure chop. I've NEVER seen the sand in this condition. Not even new years 1999. Not one small slice of untouched sand. Every square inch. I would hate riding in that. I appreciate the tip brother, I'll definitely be avoiding the crowds no doubt.
Shit show!! Im glad we stick to the track! I did all this in the 90s, super stoked i have no part in this death trap. Everyone thinks they are billy badass in the dunes
lower your front tire pressure dude. youre washing out way too much in the dunes also get comfortable staying wrapped on the throttle in sand and you will feel the true buzz of dune riding.

@OGDJ5150 I know but like when you keep jumping the same spot the jumps lip wears out fast.
you could make perfect jumps at where everyone gathers.
