    Did you unzip the downloaded update before installing in the PAm?

    • @ThePolishDad
      @ThePolishDad  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, the file needs to be unzipped before copying it to the thumb drive. Put the file in the root (top level) of the thumb drive. When you do the software update, it will automatically pick up the unzipped file on the thumb drive.
      Let me know how the update goes, and if you have any other questions.
      Thanks for watching. Have a great day!

      @@ThePolishDad All good, thank you. Will now take some getting use to having a 'green' spring flashing. Glad to see the heated grip symbol gone. Cheers.

      @@nevillegrego7112 Yeah, took a little bit to get used to the green spring, because it's different. But I do like it better than the yellow!
      Cheers!

    My bike wont recognise the usb because it says no updates available and i got my bike before december 2023. Confused, does it now work with 3.2 usc stick maybe

      @ev1lcorkhum I'm not aware of any limitations on the USB stick. The one I used is several years old, like 6 or 7 years old. It's a USB-A stick. I used a USB-A to USB-C converter.
      I'll be at the dealership tomorrow. I'll ask the techs if they're aware of any limitations or requirements on the USB stick.

      Oh, one quick question, did you unzip the downloaded file?

    • @ev1lcorkhum
      @ev1lcorkhum 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ThePolishDad I sure did, I even double checked to make sure the usb-c drive was working granted its brand new but the file even shows up on my phone when I plug it in. It has to be the drive which is 3.2 might not be compatible with the infotainment system moy sure.

      @@ev1lcorkhum I asked the Harley tech about it today and he wasn't aware of any limitations on the USB stick. Do you have another USB stick you can try?
      I was thinking that maybe you need to do a previous update first. But that doesn't seem to make sense because how would it know? An update file is an update file...
      What version is your IM currently running?

      @ThePolishDad I do but don't have the usb-c adapter which is why I just bought a new USB to type c one.
