When you watch Michaels movie video Ghost, the lockers and poppers are very well known OG'S IN THOSE STYLES.. THE POPPERS WERE 4 Electric Boogaloos : Skeeter Rabbit RIP( cousin of Pete and Sam and not the Original OG Skeeter Rabbit from the GoGo Bros. ), ROBOT DANE, POPPIN PETE, AND FOUNDER of Electric Boogaloos AND BROTHER (to Poppin Pete) Boogaloo Sam. Then there were 3 Lockers who were OG's from the Original Lockers, there was founder and Originator of locking Don Campbellock Campbell, Greg Campbellock Jr. Pope, And Shabba Doo (Adolfo Quinones) . All 3 of these OG LOCKERS have passed on RIP MASTER LOCKERS.. SO TO ME I WATCH MICHAELS MOVIE VIDEO "GHOST" MANY TIMES OVER BECAUSE NOT ONLY TO SEE THESE MEN IN ACTION, BUT THE REST OF MICHAELS DANCERS ARE ALWAYS ON POINT AND VERY ENTERTAINING.. BUT I AM IN AWE OF THE POPPERS AND LOCKERS AS I GREW UP WATCHING THEM IN THE 70'S ON SOUL TRAIN.. JUST A NOTE , MICHAEL ALSO DOES THE COBRA ALOT THAT WAS TAUGHT TO HIM BY A man who toured with him and helped teach him Poppin and the Cobra , POPPIN TACO (BRUNO FALCON) , WHO WAS ALSO PART OF THE ELECTRIC BOOGALOOS AND DANCED WITH SHABBA DOO , POPPIN PETE, PUPPET BOOZER, BOOGALOO SHRIMP, ANNA LOLLIPOP SANCHEZ WHO WERE JUST TEENS WHEN SHABBA DOO WHO WAS OLDER ORGANIZED THEM INTO A DANCE GROUP. AND MOST FROM BOTH GROUPS WENT ON TO BE IN THE movies BREAKIN AND ELECTRIC BOOGALOO 2 .. NOW YOU CAN SEE WHY I AM SO IN AWE OF THE "GHOST" MOVIE VIDEO ..MICHAEL HAD SOME VERY RESPONSIBLE DANCE INSTRUCTORS THRU OUT HIS CAREER THAT NOT ONLY CARRIED OVER TO HIS TOURS BUT INTO HIS VIDEOS AND SINCE THEY ALL WERE AROUND WHEN DANCES WERE FRESH AND NEW AND JUST BEING SHOWN TO THE DANCERS OF THE WORLD THEY ALL CO MINGLED . I AM GLAD I WAS THERE AT THE CONCEPTION TO SEE THEIR DANCES DEVELOPE AND GET A FOOTING HOLD FROM FANS FAR AND WIDE.. I AM FOREVER A POPPER AND LOCKER AND A LOVER OF MICHAEL JACKSON AND ALL THE DANCERS I NAMED IN THIS COMMENT SECTION AND THOSE I COULD NOT FIT IN THIS RESPONSE...

@@stonedog23 overall no one can sing dance and write music and songs and entertain as well as Michael Jackson. In vocals, there are few famous people that can rival him because of his time, diverse genre, range, strength, incredible live vocals plus while dancing (which most great singers can't do), and interpretation . Pavarotti, Freddy Mercury, Whitney, Aretha, Frank, Luther, Jackie Wilson... I'm already running out of challengers. Then when you add the dancing on top, there are even fewer who come close. The whole package! His voice is pitch perfect and has a high octave which is unique when he does falsetto. Also his dance ability and musical genius when he sang melodies and chords from his head, Because he couldn't actually read music and played some instruments too. 🤴🎤🌻🌍🌠

I have to agree with you on that one.. in the Ghost movie video, on set as LOCKERS ,HE HAD THE ORIGINATOR OF LOCKING , DON CAMPBELLOCK CAMPBELL, ALONG WITH GREG CAMPBELLOCK Jr. POPE, AND ADOLFO SHABBA DOO QUINONES, ALL 3 OF THESE MEN WERE IN THE ORIGINAL LOCKERS DANCE TROUPE, AND GOT THEIR START AND EXPOSURE ON SOUL TRAIN. ALL 3 OF THESE MEN HAVE PASSED ON RIP...THAT SHOW DID MORE FOR STREET DANCE BY BRINGING IT OUT TO AN AUDIENCE OF FOLKS WHO WERE READY TO SEE IT, EXPERIENCE IT, AND TRY IT. YOU CAN SEE MICHAEL LEARNED FROM THE BEST OF THE BEST. BUT HE HAD TO PUT WORK IN FOR HIM TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. HE HAD TO HAVE THE TALENT AND SKILLS TO GO ALONG WITH IT. I HAVE ANOTHER COMMENT ON THIS SITE GIVING PROPS TO THE POPPERS HE USED IN GHOST, WHO WERE JUST LIKE THE LOCKERS ,THEY WERE ALL MASTERS IN THEIR STYLE, I HAVE NAMED THEM AS THEY WERE THE ELECTRIC BOOGALOOS WITH ORIGINATOR SAM BOOGALOO SOLOMON AND CREW, AGAIN THEY ARE ALL LISTED IN MY FIRST COMMENTS..
As a dancer, the fact that I feel his very last locking sequence was actually the best made me cry 6:15. The smoothness, the variation, the minor movements to create unexpected line and directional change is the best of this entire video and he was 50! 👑 I will never stop dancing. He is proof that you can get better with age 😭❤️
He is just the greatest entertainer in the history of mankind. To witness him is a blessing. I got that opportunity to see him live on stage an it was even more incredible than I could say.
He did have a large repertoire. This was just a pop locking video he could do all sorts of classical dance, including mime and ballet and tap. He also knew how to ballroom dance

Multiverse wtf, you posted virtually the SAME lock set throughout the whole vid(save Speed Demon variant which actually is more his typical hand flares and points, more Travolta inspired than Campbell style locking). He's got SO many other variants of locking that you coulda posted? Post-Billie Jean sets, James Brown sets etc. The analytical skills from this channel are top notch so I'm surprised this vid didn't do justice to MJ's lock range at all. Very disappointing for a compilation.
Why don't you do a video of Jackson doing his pop lock moves split screen side by side with MARQUESE SCOTT or POPPING JOHN? Moonwalkers say Jackson is the best of all time, right? There's some split screen footage in this presentation so there's really no reason to deny my request, is there? Put up or shut up. Show and prove the Moonwalkers claim.

Hi
Just an observation: wondering if the 70s clip was the inspiration for Fred Berry? His moves seemed similar & not taken from Saturday night fever!
You can search for The Lockers (Campbellockers) on Soul Train! they are the OGs who inspired these dance steps.
Shabba Doo was John Travolta's dance coach for Saturday Night Fever and both him and Fred Berry were a part of The Lockers
Are some of these repeats?
Nope, he is doing the same steps many times
@@MichaelJacksonMultiverse yeah sorry my bad i just saw a comment down below of all the tours, they looked so similar !!
You can’t out dance Michael!
He is repeating the same step many times, not me! Send the link to a video when he is doing different if you have.
I can't do that fast
Why don't you do a video of Jackson doing his pop lock moves split screen side by side with MARQUESE SCOTT or POPPING JOHN?
Moonwalkers say Jackson is the best of all time, right?
There's some split screen footage in this presentation so there's really no reason to deny my request, is there?
Put up or shut up.
Show and prove the Moonwalkers claim.
I never knew he could dance. Interesting.....😑
either top tier sarcasm or concerning ignorance this is tbh,no in between to me,at least..
What's the name of the song at 00:22??
