I have the bed rug product in mine which is the floor kit only not full bed sides. It also extends to the tailgate which I like. Just because I already have it, can the Decked system be installed over the top of the bed rug ?
Looks like a cool system, but now i need drop in 16" solid aluminum side rails for when i need to get a load of beauty bark, or mulch for my yard. Do you have any products like that?
What stops someone from simply removing the top mounted bolts and taking it apart? Am I missing something? It seems like they should have a security plate that is accessible only from the inside that covers bolts.....
@@Natangz no actually he’s got a point. If someone wants to get into your truck there isn’t much to at can stop him. Like do you expect everyone to get bulletproof glass so nobody can break your window?
@@CalebBoender When you install a door, do you put the hinges on the outside? Why not? Because it becomes easy to gain access. Getting in with a wrench is much easier and less noisy then getting in with a crow bar, or sawzall. A basic security plate is easy to incorporate into the design. My truck cover has a lock, and cannot be accessed unless something is broken - allowing someone to gain access to thousands of dollars worth of equipment with a wrench is simply a bad design.
Ashton Smith: The DECKED Truck Bed Storage System will work with a spray in bed liner; no fitment issues per the manufacturer. However, a plastic drop in bed liner would have to be removed for proper installation. Great question!

It was custom fabricated at a local fabrication shop in Central Florida. Unfortunately you can't get the same one.

@@Realtruck How is that shim 1:06 going to stick on the spray on bed liner? My factory spray on bed liner has a stucco like surface.
Paolo Bejar the weight of the system will hold that shim there. Works great on my ZR2.
