Shove in high stance and Devastation in mid stance have shorter recovery compared to other way around.
Good shit. That's how I've always had it set up because that way it's also easier to land Shove against humans when they can't block the initial light attack.
Finish off your enemies with Tonfa's "one inch punch" for mega style points.
I try to go for that whenever possible haha

Hello Poofy. Great work, great content indeed. Well done. I have seen your videos (and last to load) about evasion cancel, msf2 weapon swap, sheath cancel etc and really most of these are really difficult to execute. Regarding to this video, I have a permanent issue when I do flash attack from tonfas or spear high stance to another weapon. Tonfas do demon's dance first, spear spear flourish before flash attack and I have to tap d pad down twice in order to swap weapon finally. What I do wrong? How can I avoid demon's dance or spear flourish before flash attack? For spear my solution is to preswift to mid stance from high stance to avoid this happening. Also, can we say that ultimate heart can replace flux II, for executing mgf2 weapon swap for example or these 2 are different and work their own way? Any reply would be appreciated. Sorry for my English
Tonfa -> perform Demon Dash and then Flash attack
Spear -> Preshift to prevent Spear Flourish and then Flash Attack
Ultimate Heart and Path of the Gods can greatly improve Ki gains on Flux. Try those out.
Is the other mystic art viable ? Im currently running it because my damage feel a little bit underwhelming at the moment compared to my Kusa. But im only starting to learn tonfa's and dont have a proper build for it so I dont know
I've seen players pick Apocalypse over Kannagi and vice versa. They're both quite useful. Eventually, you can get both at the same time via Mystic Dyad. This becomes available once you hit Dream of the Wise.

its just damage, you barely notice its there. I'd say the safety of a well played kannagi nets you more damage over the course of the fight since you are able to attack with 100% uptime by dodging on your skills. If you aren't good with kannagi and have to back off from the enemy anyway, then apocalypse might do more, but at that point might as well just pop a powerpill or smth and have the best of both worlds. Damage for damage's sake is super easy to come by in this game, you shouldn't need to sacrifice a gameplay element like kannagi for it, there are other avenues
Ok so I've taken a 3 month break from nioh 2 but now I'm back.
All of a sudden demon dash isn't coming out at all for me
And I know I didn't forget how to do it (press forward after ki pulse) so did it change at all while I was gone or is my controller messed up? Lol
I haven't noticed any issues with my inputs. could be a controller issue; I've had to replace a controller before.
It's possible to disable it from the skill tree. Try to select the skill in the tree
Is it possible to have like imbued water and tonfa gun on the same weapon

What dlc do I need so I can use tonfas in the start of the game
For Nioh 2, tonfas are included in the base game.
@@PooferLlama thanx I was woundering beacuse right now I’m on nioh one and I heard you gotta buy dlc to use tonfas so I thought I had to do the same for nioh 2 Beacuse I got the game but no dlcs yet

Searing Bolt Tonfa. It's either from dlc2 or dlc3. i cant remember which.
