Very comprehensive review here. I've use a couple of these brushes and found them to work very well. I am well, an Army Painter, so these brushes have put in a lot of work for me as I've painted 2000 point 40K armies one after another. I've used maybe four out of the lot of the 10-11 you showcased. You've made my decision on which individual brushes to pick up as I don't need the whole set. Well done.
Took your recommendation and ordered 5 brushes from them since they were on sale. Looking for good brushes to do details on 1/35 scale figures and they looked impressive. Thanks for the info.
Good to hear. First impressions of the set were certainly very favourable to me. Will be doing a few 1:35 figures in the next few weeks to really test them out.
Nor had I David, but an email with an online sale, prompted me to take a look. The first two products I got from this brand have impressed me quality wise, so I think I will be taking a closer look at what else they sell over the next few months.
I believe Kolinsky is a company that manufacture sable paint brushes for artists. I paint watercolours and I have found its best to discard the covers if you reuse them there's a risk of pushing brush hairs back and once you do that they never seem to go back in shape again. You usually end up having to cut the stray hairs off. Hope you find this info of use. Look forward to your next video. Regards Vic.
Thanks Vic. That clears things up! Working on a couple of build videos right now. Of course that means I actually have to finish the models first. ;) Dan
Lol...it's actually the name of the weasel that the hairs come from! Kolinsky sable comes from the tail of the Siberian weasel, also known as the kolinsky or kolonok, which is a ferret-sized mammal from the weasel family. So there ya go :D Cheers for the vid, I think I'm going to get a set of these!

Thank you for the kind words.
The name Kolinsky is the type of weasel hair used, not a brand
That makes sense. Thanks George.

Why even make stippling brushes??? every brush get the to be a stippling/dry brush sooner or later lol.
Can't argue with that!

This seems like an unboxing. Not a review.
Fair comment.
