It will work. Tbh, on an xc bike you might just go with slx drivetrain and whatever brakes you like (zee, mt5, xt, shigura, whatever) Or just go all out weight weenie. Idk what that would be tho.

ever have issues with the cable snapping at the connection point? and mine has a slight wobble in the cage area so it's not aligned. it's been on my dh bike with expected abuse.
You say you think this Zee is lighter, but the XT is listed as weight 258 g, which is less. Also, the XT has the advantage of sealed bearings, correct? Is there any advantage of the Zee over the XT?
@@df-cq8pi no, it's never a joke. I got it done and upgraded with Zee Rear derailleur and shifter. Now, I have 23 to 90 gear inches and it is climbing like mountain goat. Very happy with it.
@@df-cq8pi agreed to that... but after researched, it does work to max of 42t. Before I bought from BikeInn, they confirm doable. That's the reason I post this question here but didn't get any reply. Proceed to take the risk and was happy that I did. Works perfectly. BTW, was told that it doesn't work with rear suspension bike.
Using a Zee as my current derailleur, never felt shifting so crisp and smooth before

I never have problems with the cables snapping. Any moving parts of the housing might cause it.

+Andrew Oh, there is so many. I do not recommend Shimano lower range, like Deore. XT are cool. Check out also DT and TUNE.

My Zee Derailleur got in my wheel while driving on a Street, do you know what could be false?
The limiting screw or perhaps no spacer under the cassette and thus the sprockets being to close to the spokes.
SickBiker I drove about 4 Months with this setup without any problems. Will a Zee derailleur shift better with a Saint shifter?
clutch is at off setting? low limiter screw not setup properly.
Happened to me on Shimano 105. Was a bent deraileur hanger most likely.
