Hi Bob and Jenny, when you put the Fiamma awning out you need to wind it out fully (the fabric will actually go a little slack when fully extended) then slightly wind it back and the fabric will then go taught and be ready for use.
Thanks, I know. I noticed the door touched the rail whilst I was still putting the legs down. You should never wind it out fully until some of the weight is taken by the legs.
Take it to the beach Bob! Nice little m/home, I like the style of the Baileys. If I could afford a m/home, that one would be a strong contender. Hope they take note of your comments about the catch on the table, a plate rack, and especially the Whale pump connector.
Next time I buy a camper I’m going to check the fridge . It was new in 2018 same as yours and the fridge has not worked properly for one year . A new one fitted this month . Lost a lot of food . Keep up the good work 😀
Did make me laugh about the donkey in the cupboard lol. That open cupboard would drive me nuts too though Bob. Bad design on the awning which is surprising for the main door. I love this little van but I was a bit concerned about fitting everything in. It seems there is much more storage than I thought. When you view an empty van its hard to imagine where everything will go. Enjoy your Southern Friendship Tour - Lin xx

being 6ft 4ins it is definately to small for me but where the Microwave would benefit me because I am tall the lower down stuff I can see being a problem. I do feel British campers in general lack an attention to detail and a quality finish compared to American motorhomes highlighted by the large number of YT vids where people have spent a fortune buying a van because it is the one they like before they then spend a lot more upgrading and altering the van they bought because they liked it. Good vid though Bob.
Hi from NZ, Our new Auto trail 615 is similar lay-out as the Bailey 5.9-2. Our's is 6.4 long so our single seats are well & truly long enough to use as single beds so all we do is bring out our Duvalays no making up beds. Also we have huge storage cupboards above the cab which take all our linen & pillows with plenty of room left. We love having the 2 kitchen benches & plenty of floor space as well so easy to park.
Hi bob and Jenny good first review of this little Motorhome but bailey need to get this right as we have seen on this video already door catching the awning table catch screws not done up toilet not put in properly was this Motorhome PDI ? All the very best on your trip with it glen and jackie
Thanks, but we're not talking major problems here, the door only catches the awning if it's not put out all the way. Someone hadn't pushed the toilet cassette in fully.
Bob Earnshaw hi totally agree but still a stupid design with the awning the door does look to high every Motorhome is going to be different but something like that would put me off

My swift sundance has a large over cab looker great space for keeping all the bedding and pillows. To be honest I would rather have looker space than the skylight

I am always in Southport only live a short drive away in Liverpool , I think I have seen the sea in once and then it went straight back out again

Thanks, the bathroom cupboard just needs a bit of silicon spray. There were just too many cushions in a small van!

There's lots of storage in the kitchen, but not much under the sofas.
Interesting watching you put up the awning. Ive just bought a Fiamma tiedown S kit. Do you use one on your motorhome ?
Yes if it gets windy. Still and calm and a bit sultry today though. Brought my tie down kit with me though.

Thanks, the big problem for many people is they can't road test or live in the motorhome before they buy, that's hopefully where we can help.

Yes, the Alliance needs over cab cupboards. The kitchen is great though in the Alliance.

It isn't a drop down bed Kev, it's a pull together.
I like it seems to have quite good storage. I have a Wildax van convention and it’s great on the move but sometimes I’d like a bit more storage
One thing we miss is the overcab locker that we had in the Autocruise Starfire.
