For the shaving cream one, it really helps if you take a ruler and kind of flatten out the shaving cream before putting the food coloring. Just scrape the top layer of it so that it's not bumpy 😊 love this video so much
Omg Sarah I've been with you since your clay fish bowl tutorial! Now your less than 100k away from 1 million subscribers!!! I'm so proud and happy for you!!
I love the outcome of the shaving cream. I think it has the fullest look and design...I was a little hesitant about wiping off the shaving cream because I though it looked great before, but the outcome was so beautiful!
I remember doing this in my middle school art class. We used inks and methyl cellulose. It's syrupy when mixed with water. That way it's easier to draw designs on the surface.
BY THE WAY... If anyone wanted to try out the shaving cream marble effect diy, after you dip your paper into the shave cream you have to let the paper sit for like 3 minutes and then use a ruler or something to take the saving cream off all in one motion. If you don't wait for at least 3 minutes and if you use a paper towel to remove the shaving cream your design will be super smudged and the colors will be mixed
just sort of a PSA because I see this all too often. that is not the right kind of mask to wear when spray painting. that is a dust mask and doesn't protect you against harmful vapors. you need to wear a respirator and/or be in a well ventilated area. there are also different kinds of filters used depending on the substance you're using. just looking out for you and everyone else too. be safe!
She's brave doing that spray paint (even just the spritz) on her carpet! I'd have it everywhere. I'm like a child with any type of paint lol.

I did the shaving cream one in fourth grade for Valentine's Day and put the marbled pattern on a heart. It turned out so beautiful!

For the shaving cream you can use a squeegee, they sell some at walmart, to just scrap it off and it'd work better than using to many paper towels!
