IMPORTANT: At 9:34 Samsung's video colours look reddish and oversaturated due to a bug on Macs which render videos tagged with Samsung's Colour Profile Rec. 2020 (9-1-9) with that reddish tint. On the phone itself they look right. I uploaded a vid explaining the issue in more detail.

I've owned every iphone up until the X. I switched to the Galaxy S9+ and I must say I love it. After you get over the anxiety of not having an iPhone you enjoy android. Full of customizable features. iPhone's are a bit easier to use but I got used to and love my Galaxy.

I bought the Iphone X a month ago and I don't even notice the notch anymore. It's something you grow accustom to. The swipe gestures and no home button actually makes using the iphone better in my opinion!

Watching this on my Samsung s9. After 7 years with Apple I finally left after being disappointed. I love my S9, so much more better looking and it's a lot more customisable.

Both the smartphones are just damn awesome by their features & aspects of view but if you really love fingerprint reader & audio jack like me then we're definitely lean towards S9+ & also you can't underrated the butter like smooth latest snapdragon 845 processor which is better than it's old predecessors & surely the variable appreture camera for better low light performance,just give a big thumbs up👍 to your to video jon your editing & your locations just awesome as you 👌 .

I own iPhone X and it’s a great phone!!! I’m so contented on it... Samsung is good too! At the end of the day it’s depends on what you prefer.. No need to bash each other on which one is better! Both has pros and cons... usually those bashers don’t even own either phone so better 🤐

I just switched to an S9+ from an iPhone X, I love the change. But I have to admit there are certain feature iPhone has but not the Samsung. On top of that, I hate how "messy" Android OS is, especially when it comes to file-naming and such... (If anybody gets what I'm trying to say here, lol) Other than that, loving my S9+, RIP my long-Apple relationship.

I moved from Apple to Samsung and android is much much better.. I took me 2 weeks to learn how to use the Samsung but once I got used to it, it is much much better than Apple.. Apple customer service is better though but for mobile I wont be going back to Apple in a hurry.

For me, it's S9 over the iPhone any day. Following reasons
-Better audio especially with the Sony LDAC codec and you can play FLAC.
-Better camera controls which equal to better pics (Pro mode)
-Cheaper
-MicroSD slot

I guess Both phones have their merits. I prefer iPhone X as i love to use iOS but rest We are not loosing anything IMP if we chose iPhone X or S9 Plus. Both are filled with many features. Happy to see S9 Plus is worthy contender to iPhone X and they kept price low compared to iPhone X. Hope Apple will bring down prices that will never happen but hope for the best!

Nitesh Mhatre I think your review in you first 2 sentences is spot on, first and foremost. You have to know which OS you prefer. You also have to no how to use them and have some common sense, unlike Josh and his waist of time review. Your 2 sentences were thoroughly better since you didn’t say anything that wasn’t true. I haven’t used the S9 Plus so I can’t comment on whether it’s a worthy contender. However since I’ve used the Note 8 and I think it’s not only a worthy contender, I think it’s considerably better than the iPhone. Because of this, I would think the S9+ would at least be a contender if not better. I’m obviously partial to the Android OS since I really live the open architecture platform versus the iOS that’s only what they allow (as I’m typing this on an iPad). Josh had his S9+ for 48 hours. How long have you had you S9+ and iPhone X? I know you said you prefer the iOS operating system, while I prefer Android OS, it’s quite refreshing to find someone who has experienced both devices before commenting on them. I find a lot of people who recommends a particular phone over another, but they haven’t used the other phone at all. I know one person who was going on and on about the Pixel 2XL on how was better than basically every phone out, until I found out he used his friend’s phone for a hour and the rest of the phones he mentioned he never used. I chuckled. What other phones have you used with iOS as well as Android. Also do you have any idea when they are going to update iOS? This version is horrible, especially with the battery life which I know they acknowledged. And they keep coming out with updates to supposedly fix it, which one if then wasn’t bad, but the last 2 were horrible. I read several articles that mentioned that you should only update to the most recent if you have the previous update installed, which unfortunately my daughter installed. She thought she was helping me out. It was nice, but I’m waiting now. I’ve tried explaining to her that no matter what OS you have, you shouldn’t necessarily update immediately. Security yes, without a doubt! However, I keep reminding her that all of these phones, doesn’t matter iOS, Android, Windows, whatever you have, it doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to update. The phone you own was creating during a particular OS and was optimized to work the best on that OS. So by updating you may actually cause your phone to work better, but also worse than it did. So you really need to see what features come with the new OS and if you really need/want them in order to take the chance on updating. The other idea is to wait and see what these reviewers who are going to change their phones anyways, say how their phones respond to a particular update. I think she’s finally getting it because she said she forgot when she updated the last time. Well, enjoy your phones!

I have both an x and s9+. The samsung takes it. Theres much more u can do with the s9+. The iphone takes simplicity BUT the s9+ takes complexity.

What Samsung can do to improve the S9:
- Bigger battery
- Bring back the IR blaster
- Have two front facing speakers (built into the bezels)
- Faster Android updates
- Lower the Bixby button and make it remapable to other apps
- Better cameras obviously
