I'm not the biggest fan of the NHL/CFL but the game is more about doing strategies to move the ball up, they hit pretty damn hard and seeing some of the throws/catches they make can be quite amazing to see.

Notice how the Greeks, the population that rebelled against several decades of Muslim oppression during the Ottoman Empire laughed the most at these jokes. True expression of free speech. I'd like to see them try these jokes in Saudi Arabia and walk away with all body parts still firmly attached and claim all religions are equal.
Historian speaking; Greeks were not oppressed under the Ottoman Empire, in fact Greeks were allowed to practice their religion in any way they wanted, and were given special rights, along with the fact that most Greeks were given high education and an important job in the palace. It was Turks who were oppressed in the Ottoman Empire, almost none of them were allowed in the palace or a good education or money.
Also, the center of Orthodox Christianity was (and still is) Istanbul, and the Byzantine churches were left standing.
The reality is that, Greeks just went with the "nation-state" trend and got the financial and political support of the west, who wanted the Ottoman Empire to weaken.
And my personal opinion is that, Greek people should stop being butthurt (and -still- mentioning Turks in some way, even when they are not related to the subject at all, like here), and start trying to make their country better instead of clinging onto the past (a similar mistake is being done by the Turks and the Armenians as well).

The common soldier and commonfolk classes in the Ottoman Empire were almost always of Turkish descent.
Sometimes, very bright and fit kids of Christian descent were indeed taken away from their villages to be given the best education at the Royal Medrese, to be made into important statesmen of the royal court (and in the case of Sadrazams, the de facto rulers of the entire Ottoman Empire, most of them were of Christian descent as they were mostly originally Devşirme), or special Janissary class soldiers who literally had the power to change and have changed the Sultan according to their will, and they did it multiple times.
Those kids who were going to live and die as mere villagers in the middle of nowhere became the most important people and the rulers of the whole Empire, and none of them reported to have any problem with it, and the devşirme system stayed in place for a looooooong time (even though 99% of all the Sultans, Sadrazams, Empress dowagers, and Empress consorts were of non-Turk descent, mostly Christian)
