    Watched a presentation by Kevin VK4UH just the other night on Meteor Scatter. A very interesting mode of operation that I'd be keen to try. He did say for 2m about an 8 element beam is a good compromise between too much and not enough gain. Only seeing this now as TH-cam decided to put it in my recommended feed.

    Peter there are over 26 meteor showers we enjoy during the year. Some are excellent with some high ZHR (zenith hour rates) which is another way of saying how many meteors we see within an hour period. The best times are between 0100am-0500am, this is due when the earth rotates into the path of the debris. Paul vk3da
