100% agree. So many creators just tell you how to build an exact base rather than teaching you concepts to create your own designs which is far more important and effective.
i clicked on the video expecting to learn all the different gap sizes and different ways to use them but all i found out how to do is make a bunker base
standard wallstack is 4 halfmoon it's not about 7 o 8 square that's just the space you need for do 4 halfmoon+square for square or 4 halfmoon for triangle you can perfectly do 4 halfmoons, 2 2 halfmoons, 1 1 1 1 halfmoon, 8 "half-halfmoon" (this is triangle+square+triangle+square.. etc) fast tips: you can demolish 3 square and build halfmoon to keep building priv so you don't need to break twig foundations and just demolish-build-demolish-build triangle roof bunker with wallstack are dangerous you can connect two structures by accident and pop your external tc don't use it if you don't know what you're doing
heres a building 101 chad tip trick for all of ya - build temporary external tc on twig foundations...so you can just delete your wall stacking foundations with your wood hammer, instead of having to hatchet them out. YOUR WELCOME!!
but what is this good for? it's just a normal wall with a wallframe behind it... does the wallframe increase the strength of the wall? i thought wallstacking was literally stacking walls... like in ark for example
Good video but I thought you were going to actually wall stack kinda like in last Island survival where you literally have two wall side by side where from our side it look normal then you break wall and boom there is another wall
This video is just a sum up for beginners, Also I’m just quoting evil wurst when he explained wall stacking vs multi tc. Really there is several ways to look at it. In my opinion along with some other base builders I spoke to on discord, Multi TC can be considered a base with externals
It can make sealing your base after a raid much easier since the raiders can not build. Also it can create bunkers and secret loot rooms as well as crazy peek downs. It’s definitely advanced stuff though
Wall stacking is where you have multiple walls against each other. If you do it right, you can get up to 3 outer walls flat against each other in about the same length as a small furnace. Years ago you could get a full square foundation full of walls (12 walls thick) until they nerfed it. Then a few years later you could do 2 walls thick and now the most you can do is 3 (but it takes a LOT of precision and time)

Sorry to say but Multi TC = Wall Stacking. A base with externals isn't Multi TC.

On the last build couldn't you just destroy the outer TC and wait for the bunker entrance to decay?

It does still work, most likely you have something else attached to the wall on one of the sides that is keeping it from opening
