I don’t think there’s a more adventurous American hunt than a bull elk. Especially, camped deep in the woods and not some fancydude ranch thing. I finally killed one on my third year. That was about 25 years ago with my self made 48# longbow. So much personal reward getting it done on the ground with my personal made bow and wood arrows. Cool video again!

I know you use the Garmin Xero C1 Pro, but may be worth trying out the Garmin A1i Pro if it’s legal where you hunt, and doesn’t completely deplete the budget. It’s a game changer. Removes all of the guess work, and extra movement needed to use your rangefinder when in a pinch.
