One if the plus of everest/endeavor is the their underbelly is well protected compare to fortuner, pajero or nissan. On standard is it already equips with front and middle engine plates, diff plate, fuel tank was protected from front to rear, unlike pajero which only protected in the front and fortuner which is not protected at all! This tell you that everest was really design to go to places that not use to be for another SUV. Oh also the tie rod and ball joint are bullet proof! True it is not as comfortable as pajero and fortuner in tarmac but when you do off road, no SUV are comfortable anyway.. What you need is dependable and everest/endeavor is dependable as a rock!
Ford endeavour is a massive car and high weighted one so we have to think that its do well in its own way.. Without any remark ... I have a 2009 model ford endeavour its just amazing... 😘 😘 😘 😘
Jishnu Ponnu what’s the maintaince cost and what i mileage it is giving I am also planning to buy ford endeavour 2008 in 3.5 lacks black colour 60000 driven pls reply
@@drrajeshkhare4227 good choice sir its a superb big monster maintenance cost around 3000 per month including fueling and service cost (Its depends on your driving) mileage 12to 14 for my car ...
I have an old Endeavour 2.5 litre 4*2 Variant. 2008 model. Can someone please tell me some popular and reliable engine mods which I can install , such as diesel kit, or filter etc to make my ride a little bit more powerful.
@packerdawg Maybe some but not all lol. This was during my early days of offroading so didn't have much experience. And the title was a bit of an exaggeration :)
@vinvin3030 They are spotting for me because when you're in the car it's hard to see what your tyres are going over. I was inexperienced then and needed that guidance. Now that I am more experienced I require the assistance of spotters much less.

is this the 3.0 duratorq? it has almost the performance of the all new 2012 ford ranger t6..... 3.2l 5 cylinder duratorq: 197hp, 470nm..... your ford is very badass with maxxis bighorn mt..... all you need is just lockers front and rear XDDD what chip did you use?
Do you have the ARB RD 143 Air Locker installed by now? Btw: The rear axle has a clutch type limited slip diff I am sure. Torsen would be to expensive. At 3:22 why didn't you apply a little of the parking brake? It will make the limited slip work even in such conditions as a wheel lift.
U guys in india are lucky to have that kind of light truck based diesel vehicle. In US we have nothing like that, i wish Ford would do that in their own country.
Got the Spider Diesel Tuning Chip. Has some adaptive tech and other stuff. Works really well. ((dieseltuning.co.uk/spider.html)) Lockers for the rear are already on my list. ARB air lockers are available for the rear but not for the front.
Have not spent any money on repairing damage so far. If you drive the vehicle carefully and sensibly then there is no problem. I still take it offroad at least twice a month :)
@MrHennC It certainly is great. Its putting out about 195 bhp now with the diesel chip and K&N air filter. Weight is 4448 lbs or 2040 kg so it has a pretty good power to weight ratio too. Only problem is the break over angle. Gets me stuck in places.
this guy has some good pockets.. taking 24lakh suv to terrain like this can rip you off..all in all nice mods mate. love the black beast tearing rocks and mud
Nothing much to brag about. A small hump and a 20 men to scream like little girls?? These are amateurs basically. I've seen localities do much more dangerous stuff in their 1970 mahindra jeeps. That vehicle, is crying more much more heroic offroad driving.
Go for the Unichip. Spider only has one connector that connects to the fuel rail pressure. Unichip has FOUR connectors for a healthier performance boost - doesnt only mod rail pressure but also turbo and some other stuff to get a good mixture of fuel and air. Still very happy with the performance boost from the Spider though. Mine is the 3.0 Crdi. Not sure if thats the same as the Duratorq ones.
Yup, thats because of the long wheelbase. Getting bigger tires to raise it up by another 2 inches
king of offroading is simply the pajero!!!
mak rez land rover !!!!
Ever Green car,,ilike it
Anybody....

Sometimes Makes us Feel little Sad, Seeing a Beautiful Vehicle Getting This Much Hurt. .. ARMY Training on Endeavour.
which is better spider tuning chip or dastek unichip? cuz i want to load my 3.0 duratorq with chip... was your endeavor 3.0l duratorq?

Bro I love ..Ford ENDEAVOUR HURRICANE 4 X 4
i found this DMS powerlab chip .... do you know about that chip cuz it gives more HP and torq? it might be better than unichip.....

for its price, very nice truck!
with diff lockers ,,, there would have been more fun in offroading ,,,,,
This is the worst tests I have ever seen.. a regular pedal bike can get up these hills!!
packerdawg because it is light and small
nice

@kevthevillain811 Nope, only a Torsen LSD in the rear. Getting Yokohama Geolandar MT tires soon though.
well... thanks .... maybe you should put two aftermarket turbos for you to have more power.....
