Thanks for the playthrough! I've been curious about this game ever since I ran across the Goblinko website when I did a google image search for Jabberwocky, and I'm very tempted to pick it up in the kickstarter for the Mean Streets expansion.
On the fence with this one. Really into Too Many Bones and I have Gloomhaven unopened but this game looks right up my alley and not terribly priced. Thanks for the video! You make it look like a lot of fun.
Thanks so much for your comment, Chris! Gloomhaven is certainly some kind of "investment" time-wise. It also took me 3-4 months until I found to friends willing to invest their time (but now we are having a blast). DD is something you get on the table more quickly and is a bit more sandbox (but you can still do the campaign too of course). Never played "TMB" but watched some of Ricky's videos on this :)
jPlay haha that is why Gloomhaven is sitting untouched. TMB is great fun with a group that doesn't mind learning a bunch of symbols but is relatively easy once you get past that. It has a lot of lore and is something completely new in a board game. Btw ended up getting the game.
From their website shipping is incredibly expensive to import, ridiculously so (Europe) DHL Express Worldwide 2 to 3 business days $ 61.78 USPS Priority Mail International 6 to 10 business days $ 62.37 USPS Priority Mail Express International 3 to 5 business days $ 81.75
This is absolutely one of the best fantasy adventure games out there. It's so creative in its world and mechanisms.
I think they rule for unarmed combat is that you take your lowest Attack die, not your highest attack die as you would in armed combat.
This is true.
Great game, incredible art.
I really like the art style and graphic design of this game, very unique and interesting.
That's what conviced me to back it originally. And then I figured out it plays very nicely too :)
You definitely got me excited about the game!
Great play through! Definitely exciting to see this game up close and personal.
Thanks, Ryan! Really appreciate the comment :)
Bought this on Black Friday and your play through has been very helpful.
Thanks for your comment! Glad you found it useful!
Great video! Thanks for explaining the gameplay. Thinking about getting this for our gaming group.
Awesome - would be interested how they liked it!
This game looks awesome. Could just be your outstanding presentation of it though:)
Nice at presenting, poor at rolling! :-D Thanks so much, Doug :)

And thank you for leaving a comment! Still struggling with myself whether I should go for „Mean Streets“ or not...

Awesome! :) Hope you enjoy it (WHEN you actually play it) ;-)
Excellent, really intrigued to order it, yet any news of part 2?
Thanks so much for your interest. Normally I would have completed the playthrough by now but the whole jPlay family is down with the flu :-(
Second printing Kickstarter is live! www.kickstarter.com/projects/seanaaberg/tarot-goblinko-dark-fantasy-medieval-punk-tarot-de
Is this a prototype or the finished commercial game? Cheers.
That's a finished commercial game - got as my Kickstarter reward but I believe it's publicly available.
Available for purchase through mail order at Goblinko.
2nd kickstarter is on
Dave Dogge And expansion KS is now live as well.

That’s really insane but I believe I also payed a lot for shipping with the original Ks campaign...
They're a tiny little company and don't receive any shipping discounts/subsidize shipping as the larger companies do.
