oh my god PLEASE do the 20 worst products from 20 drugstore brands video! i also think both of these video ideas for high-end makeup/makeup at sephora could be very cool and informative!
Don’t sleep on CoverGirl! Their lip balm is SO GOOD. And I’m in the midst of testing multiple foundations drugstore and high end, and so far the TruBlend Matte is the best! I have the powder in my bag for touch ups. It’s great at blurring but I may need to try the matte for my oils.
I love this video! I’m newish to the TH-cam makeup community and still find myself getting so overwhelmed by all of the different options and constant new releases. I would love to see you do a drugstore series where you cover one area of makeup extensively and give your honest opinions. My problem is when I decide I want to buy a new product, like lipstick for example, I don’t even know where to start and there are so many videos and products out there and I get overwhelmed. I would be so grateful if you made in-depth videos covering topics like drugstore lip products, talk about each brand, what you’ve tried, what you’ve heard and help people like me find a good product to start with depending on what we’re looking for. I love your channel and your reviews!
The pacifica vegan silk lamellar treatment is amazing, I'm very sensitive to denatured alcohol in products and Pacifica's vegan silk is one of the only in-shower glosses that doesn't contain alcohol
It's rare that I pick up products because TH-camrs mention them, but I bought the Burt's Bees Luminizer and the Flower Beauty Glaze Highlighter on your recommendation and love them both! Love your drugstore videos, Kelly!
I've noticed a lot of new Hard Candy products at my Walmart. This one isn't new but I picked up the Glamoflage foundation and its really nice. But they have some liquid eyeshadows that are metallic that I wanna pick up. Emily Noelle shared some eye shadow quads that are new.
I recently retried the elf flawless finish foundation. When I first tried it I was like this is okay, now as I've retried it I'm like NO this stuff IS GOOD. How did I not realize that the first go around? My skin looks radiant in it. Not overly dewy and just very healthy. You should do 20 mid-tier priced brands next.
I’ve just started wearing lipliner. I recalled you mentioning their slip on slide on etc etc one, the one everyone was confused about sharpening. Went and got one from ULTA. It actually STAYS ON! I went and bought a matching lipstick from them yesterday! Really love that lip liner formula
Honestly for persons in Germany, Trend it up at dm is really amazing and probably cruelty-free (at least dm says so, there‘s no certificate). Also I really like essence, catrice and bh.
Kelly you have to try the Make Up Revolution Highlighter!!!! The Highlight Reloaded in the shades "Set The Tone" and "Just My type"! They are amazing. I love them so much. $7 at Ulta!!!!
@@seevanhawkins4591 Used it today and it just smelled a little like hairspray to me. Not flowery or anything. I'd like them all to be coconut scented, lol.
I bought the Burt's Bees luminizer on your recommendation, and I love it! I have so many favorite drugstore items; it is hard to choose just one from each brand. Milani, Essence, Elf, and Flower Beauty are my favorites!
Can you please make a video where you try out a full face of makeup revolution? they have so mamy products and I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with them but the stuff that I use I love genuinly. For example I hit pan in the conceal and define powder foundation it’s so good!
I loved this video, Kelly. Of course I enjoy all of your content, though. It’s just nice to see a longer one from you every now and then. Thank you for all of your ideas. I learn a lot from you every time I watch.
Yessss on that elf foundation. I picked up for less then 4 when they had their sale to try out and was blown away on how pretty it was on my skin. Became one of my new favorites quite fast
E.L.F. : Madd for Matte Palette: Nude Mood (Great little palette of staple nudes for an every day eye or to supplement another palette.) Covergirl: Lashblas Fusion Mascara (Equally, the Volume formula because I can't tell the difference, but I love purple so...purple tube it is! This is the mascara I always come back to.) Pixie: Correction Concentrate. (Corrects & covers beautifully. On me, I don't even need to apply concealer on top.) NYX: Butter Gloss (This is a classic and longtime TH-camr favorite for a _reason.)_ Essence: Six Pan Eyeshadow Palettes (I agree, though I'm trying out a potential contender in the Volumizing Collagen Vegan Lip Balm.) Colourpop: Eyeshadow Palettes (Let's face it, this is the thing that keeps them in business.) Flower Beauty: Petal Play Shadow Quads (This is a gorgeous formula with an interesting/unique assortment of shadow stories.) Milani: Eyeshadow Primer. (It extends wear, intensifies color but allows for easy blending and never feels heavy on the lids.)
The Ordinary is my new favorite for their skincare products. Apparently I've been living under a rock. I got their chemical peel and serum with hyaluronic acid in it.... My skin looked 10 years younger after I used it. It's amazing.
@@sevothtartesama18 I need to try them or the inkey list tbh. I hear good things about both and I don't know much about skincare. Hearing all the good things about them makes me a bit happier that I don't need to spend aton.
@@pinkbubblesnake my recommendation between the two is definitely The Ordinary! What I do is pick a few actives in the form of serums (I usually go for Niacinamide + a Peptide serum like Matrixyl or Buffet) and then their occlusive but oil free and non greasy natural moisturizing factors cream to close it all up and moisturize further. Since you say you do not know about skincare I can inform a bit on why these actives: Niacinamide serum (contains zinc too) is a powerhouse against acne, is a great antioxidant (fights aging) and regulates oil production for both oily AND dry skinned people (makes oily skin normal AND dry skin normal). Peptides are anti-aging and Matrixyl for example also contains hyaluronic acid for extra hydration. The NMF cream may seem too dry for those that are used to very rich products, but persist with it for a bit and you will see a difference, it contains all the good stuff. The star product of the line for me is the red bottle with AHA + BHA peeling (not available in Canada). It is 30% strength and the closest thing you can get to a dermatologist in-office peel. Keeps dead skin cells away and gives an amazing glow. I use it twice a week as instructed. Best product ever!
the profusion cosmetics wanderlust palette (and all their 24 pan palettes) are now up to $12. profusion runs sales from time to time and if you wanna go on a haul you can get a lot before hitting the free shipping threshold ($35)
For oily friends, also recommend the hard candy mattifying primer. Sometimes I think it is the only thing that keeps my makeup lasting in the southern summer
Okay I'm so glad to hear you say that about Milani Weekend brow Soft Brown being incredibly light. I usually use taupe or ash blonde in eyebrow products so naturally I got Soft Brown in the Weekend brow. I looooooove the formula but yes--it is SO light. I was afraid Medium Brown would be too warm for me, but I'm going to grab it on your recommendation!
Kelly!! You have to use the Milani Soft Brown brow pen as an eyeliner. I was dying to find an affordable brush-tip light brown liquid liner. All the other brown liners I've tried still look too dark on me. Someone recommended the lightest shade of the Milani brow pen and I love how it looks. Glam but still soft and not as harsh as a darker eyeliner even with a wing. You do need to give it a few seconds to dry or else it will bleed a little, but otherwise it's such a great formula that doesn't budge. Give it a try!
I haven't tried too many products from these particular brands, but wanted to say from catrice- the dewy setting spray, I've gone through 3 or 4, I love it so much & ulta their round face palettes!! The ones with bronzer blush & highlight, Jessica Braun & Andrea Matiliano both say they are dupes for the hourglass powders, haven't tried those, but the ulta ones are beautiful
I love Nail Aid callus remover (all of their nail products I've tried are great) soak your feet for a bit, apply it, let it sit for a few minutes and soak again; it is like an instant "baby feet" mask. Cruelty free, vegan, available at Walmart. (I sound like an ad 😂)
@@KellyGooch Gosh that is a question. Their reloaded blushes are great, but not the highlights. They seem to have a good liquid highlight formula. I do enjoy that Super Dewy blush in several shades too. Overall any cardboard eyeshadow palette usually has a great formula. The Quick Fixx, Kombucha and Cloud primers are amazing, almost anything from that XX line is good. The stick foundations are beautiful as is the Candy Haze setting spray. For me, the Relove and Planet brands are subpar. Some of my favourite products are discontinued such as the Ruby Crush highlight, the Chameleon palette and the Stun palette :-( I love you btw xx
I just ordered from Colourpop for the first time since the RawBeautyKristi collab. I used to order all the time. But I got the Blush Crush palette and I can't wait to try it!
Yes to that Covergirl powder & tbh I recently retried the Rimmel stay matte powder (although not cruelty free ) I couldn't help but retry & its nice and smooth under the eyes . Also yes to Lip Bar for making it target after being rejected on shark tank .
Hallo, What a fun video. I have most of these and love most. The only one I hate just threw away almost full bottle into my ugh bin was that flower beauty foundation. Just will not cover my skin rubs off in patches as I do my makeup. If you or anyone has a tip to make it work I will try it again.
I have a bunch of those nyx lip liner pencils. Love them. I love nude truffle. Also I got the urban decay space cowboy because of you. Love it! Thank you.
Would you ever consider doing a vid of the kind of clothes, jewlery, & shoes you wear/recommend. I'm around your age and struggling to find clothes that isn't too teenage looking or too middle age looking 😭. I like your youthful classy looks.
I love the Flawless Finish Foundation as well but I just couldn’t handle the fragrance at all, I bought two shades thinking I’d get over it and ended up never using them 😭 if they would reformulate e.l.f. would be a perfect brand for me!
I think my favorite Catrice product right now is the hydrating primer. I love that it has no scent. It’s a good dupe for the Smashbox Primerizer! Favorite Essence was the lipsticks in the black tubes but I think they changed them? I like their black eyeliner. Favorite ELF is tough, it’s my favorite brand. I love the Wow Brow, Hydrating Camo concealer, and the sheer slick lipsticks. Favorite Ulta brand is their New Heights mascara. Favorite Milani is the baked blushes. Favorite Colourpop is the new Glowing Lips. I love the SSS but those lipsticks are so comfy. I’m wearing the Kokie HD for the first time today. Is it supposed to be super liquidy? I got it on Amazon, and it’s supposed to be thick right? I’m trying the full cover one tomorrow.
Same for me with Colourpop. I was ordering constantly from them but haven’t ordered since Baby Yoda. Just not loving the newer products given what I already have that is similar.
Really well done Kelly. Such interesting choices. Many I also love, some I will have to investigate. Thank you for all your hard work. (And I would love to see the 20 items you would not recommend!)
You guys. I tried to buy that undone palette from Ulta THREE TIMES on the website. They sent me the wrong one all three times. And it was a quad that wasn’t even listed on the website. So I still want it, but haven’t been able to find it in any stores.
Hi there! Here's some video idea suggestions: 'Subscribers recommendations'/ 'influence the influencer'/ 'trying new products as recommended by you'/ 'my subscribers cult products or holy grails'/ 'subscribers choose my makep'/ 'makeup try on, picks by you'
Profusion eyeshadow palettes are great. I own the Infatuation (which I believe is not sold anymore) and really enjoy it. I also love the Revoultion XX Blush. I still love the Essence Salute Paris eyeshadow palette. Flower Beauty makes a great foundation that I have used up but would repurchase Light Illusion. The Jungle Lights palette is also great. Catrice I am so sad that it is not sold in Ulta anymore but they have one of the best foundations HD liquid coverage in my project pan (I would repurchase). Hard Candy eyes the limit eyeshadow primer (great my fav). Awesome video!
I have to disagree with you on nyx. Their best product, in my opinion, is the glitter glue. It's the best thing to handle unruly shimmers that fall off into the cheeks, give extra punch to shimmers that need a bit of punch, and extend the longevity of shadows that fade. If a shadow can't be helped by the glitter glue, it's hopeless. It's the ultimate eyeshadow helper, a must have fow whomever uses and loves shimmers and metallics. Plus, you need so little that it lasts forever
Most of the time I hate liquid lipsticks except for Kiko Milano. It's no budge when set and doesn't give me a rash around my lips (Wet N Wild, Sephora and LA Girl the biggest offender).🥴 It doesn't taste and feel like you dabbed wall paint on your lips as well.
To me personally I wasn’t a fan of the Wanderlust palette. It’s pretty but not my fav. I love my Confidence palette!!! However those are more my shades.
