You ever think about how Camper has seen so much more in his adventures with you than any other dog ever? They are stuck in the same house on the same couch maybe getting walks in on the same trails. Camper is like the Ferdinand Magellan of dogs.

Words to live by. In 2020 I had a very serious health scare which drove me to life on the road. A similar expression is my life's motto now. Enjoying going through your backlog of vids. Awesome and inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Some advice from when I was out there in my prius... best wifi for uploads by far was public libraries.. and surprisingly pretty common even in small towns. Problem you would have is having the dog with you but you might be able to take the jackery and work outside weather permitting. Also truckers have extra showers if you are ever on a budget and are more than happy to give them away. I did find the showers at campsites were cheaper than truckstops. Stay safe. Don't die. second best wifi was always starbucks... or hotel parking lots
I love my dogs' cold, wet noses. I call it their "squishes". I bet Camper has a great "squishes"! LOL. I am glad everyone is safe and wasn't hurt.
Camper sure loves his car rides. I lived and travelled around Australia in my car as well. During this time found one develops an acute road sense, an intuition, where one feels safe to sleep. Eventually I graduated to a campervan and then years later we brought a 50' yacht where we live now to escape all the COVid crap. The lifestyle is addictive on so many levels.

I’m glad the rock missed you. From that height even a small stone would do a lot of damage. That was a good reminder that life is short and anyone of us could go at any time.
I love Camper. He’s such a cool dog. You’re totally made for each other. He seriously has the best life! He might not have a big house to run around in, but I would be willing to bet that he gets more exercises and walkies than half of the dogs in the country. I live in a van… just starting out. I live in Whitehorse Yukon Canada, so it’s pretty cold here. It’s -5 celcius outside right now so I’m wearing my thermal jammies. I’m planning on getting a dog to join me in tje spring. I want to do a winter alone first to make sure I can keep the temperature controlled well enough to be able to leave a dog alone in the van for a couple hours at a time. Once the van is fully paid off I can work less and thus not have to leave a puppers alone for hours.

As an animal lover I would walk over hot coals to rescue my cats and my little dog and I think you became Camper's hero carrying down that almost shear cliff. You should look into a way to attach your solar panels on top of your car while you drive, and run the wire in through the window, so you can charge as you drive, then when you stop, take them off and store them away. There has to be a way. There is always sun while driving, (while if you drive during the day that is, lol)
But it would be a great way to top off the jackery power.
While driving, it's simpler and more energy efficient for her to just charge her devices and power stations off an inverter, than to stick solar panels out in the wind. Not that her car is in a great aerodynamic configuration with the cargo carrier, but the cargo carrier also shades a lot of her roof space already, and putting solar on top of the cargo carrier is an aero disaster costing much more energy than it provides.
If you're willing to give up seeing out the back hatch while driving, solar panels inside it can give you a bit of free power. In my own Prius setup, I curtain off the back all the time, plus keep a hatch window cover (black outside) installed, pretty much continuously. Once you're used to driving using mirrors, plus having a backup camera, the loss of visibility making it equivalent to driving a panel truck or big rig, is manageable.
Personally, I'd still not put solar panels inside the window, outside the window, on the roof, or anywhere else. Too much loss of stealth about the fact you're living in there. The cargo carrier doesn't mean you're living in there, solar panels do. The Prius is not a very tall car, so absolutely every person passing her in a big rig, tall van/SUV, RV, or anything else would know she's living in there.
I love how dedicated you are to Camper! Not too many people that put their dog’s first in their adventures. You’re inspiring me & giving me good ideas to traveling in the car with 3, YES THREE..dogs🤣

OMG....gorgeous. As a truck driver, i absolutely love going out west. I cant see the things u can get to, but i was able to drive the western edge of Yellowstone last year. AMAZING. Thnk u for showing us what i cant get to in the truck. With all my points n shower credits, if u ever need a shower, im here for ya.
Living in the Tampa area is nice, but i swear, my heart belongs in the west.

When I was 25 and single I used to love getting outdoors, now in my 50’s with the tribe/family with teenagers, I still love going to the great outdoors, just need a full size 4wd and trailer.

Watch out ,Sasquach will throw bolder's at you in super deep forest , cliffs, they throw rocks, pine cones, if they really don't like you they will throw a whole 500lb log, like nothing, be aware of everything around you,scan between trees in the thick forest, you might see one tree peeking, Idaho is Sasquach country, good video, be safe, and alert in thick forest!!I had a cupple encounters their , two sightings!! Cool stuff!!

I took the same hike 2 months ago! Awesome cave. I am impressed you took Camper all the way up there. Heard that the cave goes way back. I only went a few yards and then it got too creepy. Felt like there was an ancient dragon sleeping in the dark. Friends of mine went much further and got to some crawl spaces after which they said the cave went on for miles. Somebody mapped it out once, because you can easily get lost. Anyway - enjoyed this particular video and always love to see you and Camper smile!

Geez, scary moments indeed. ...Beautiful scenery AND I cracked up watching Camper eyeballing the food in your hand as you were talking. 🤣 Gosh he is truly adorable! Whenever I have hiked with any of my canine hoodlums, I talk out loud or sing. This lets bears know we are in their territory. But here's a dilemma that made me laugh out loud the first time I thought of it = so it is "Bear-Smart" to make noise in bear country. However, if you are hiking where there are also mtn lions - NOT a good idea to announce "Here I am!" with them! Unlike bear who tend to be shy, preferring no human interactions- mtn lions are very cocky and CAN BE very aggressive when you invade their territory. I thought about this one day while hiking and I was like hmm, to sing or not to sing, that is the question! 🤣 I kept singing....
~~Over the yrs, in different states, I have been blessed to see black bear, timber wolves, mtn lions and moose - all out in the wild. They all saw me as well and not one of them came anywhere close to attacking or threatening attack. We all had our "Ohhhhh!" moments, my heart raced and then we each carried on with our own journey. I always feel blessed to see any wildlife in their natural surroundings plus I have a healthy respect for the fact that the large ones COULD cause serious harm to us, but I believe most often, they truly would rather not entangle with us.
