Get some U bolts the fit into the trucks. That way you can use round objects and still be able to mount them.

you could use u bolts on the plunger, just sand the handle where the trucks are going to go then use u bolts, it should work, and you could just take it apart and the plunger is still usable without holes

I think 2 plungers side by side would work. layering your materials and gluing them together like boards layer wood will help make them tough too.

Well you can put trucks on a plunger without extras just use riser pads on the top and use that to sandwich everything together

Ok I can't help myself this time. GUYs read the instruction manual for your drill. When making holes, take the drill out of the clutch mode and turn the barrel behind the chuck to the DRILL position. Second CHOOSE the second speed, found on the top of the drill as a slider bar. This will give you more RPM making the hole drilling much easyer. As well when mounting the trucks to the boards you will get a lot more torque out of the drill. I love your vids and what you are doing for skating! BUT FML if I have to watch you struggle with that drill one more time!!!!!

Nathen Zuniga there's 2 different styles of dollar store, dollar tree type where everything is a dollar or less, and dollar general were everything is fairly cheap but a lot of things are more than a dollar but less expensive than items at a normal store.
