The gentleman that you just saw literary with his mouth open is Marco Antonio Muñiz also one of the best singers in latin america, José José was basically a newcomer and Marco was already a legend, so when you see his reaction you know that was in another level of talent even they close-up Angelica Maria and the gentlemen with the cigar Alberto Vazquez also very talented singers and they were really impressed 👍👍👍

Great reaction Adam, he was a legend! The song its called "The sad one" Im leaving you the translation of the lyrics if you are interested, so you can understand better the emotions behind the song... THE SAD ONE How sad it was to say goodbye, When we adored each other so much, Even the swallow migrated Foreshadowing the end. How sad everything is without you, The beach has no sea, The colors turn gray, Everything is loneliness now. I don't know If I'll see you once again, I don't know what will become of my life without the light of your being, That doesn't shed light on me anymore. Today I want to savor my pain, I don't ask for compassion nor mercy This love story was written To be eternal "What a sad one", everyone says of me, That I'm always speaking of you But they don't know that by thinking of your love, of your love, I am able to help myself go on, to help myself live. José José is such a legend and I’m happy that even after passing away his work is still being recognized globally, descanse en Paz el principe de la canción.
The guy with the mouth open is another great singer form Mexico Marco antonio Muñiz ( " el lujo de Mexico"), and the woman with long hair is other singer from Mexico Angelica Maria ("la novia de Mexico"), and the men almost final smoking too is a singer Arturo Vazquez. Jose Jose is wonderfull.
As a Mexican whenever i see a foreigner reacting to jose Jose and loving it and praising his voice it makes me happy to know that music doesn't have barriers at all and can be enjoyed by anyone 🔥🔥🔥
The Mexican composer Roberto Cantoral García wrote the song “El triste” during a flight back to Mexico to attend the funeral of his mother, to whom it was dedicated.
"That guy's face" is Marco Antonio Muñiz, Latin Americas favorite crooner of the 1960's...He was so famous at the time that Marc Anthony's father in Puerto Rico named his son after him...His face says a lot about how he must have felt about the new talent that was coming up to plate...
Very informative! We mexicans love Jose Jose! Yet your true reaction being a vocal coach=someone who' knows what what your talking about, has made me a new subscriber!
Fun fact: the jaw dropping guy's name is Marco Antonio Muñiz and he was a professional singer as well.. that good was Jose Jose... Great analysis! Subscribed! 👌
Apart from the voice, I heard it for the first time when I was in a bathroom of a hotel and my girlfriend just put on a José José mix on TH-cam, (an artist I never hear before) and I immediately said to her "wow! who's this and what is that song?, you have to bear in mind that this was basically his first major performance. Incredible!! He must have really taken to this song, to sing it with such an emotion and feel.. Wow, wow, wow! He apparently has said himself, that that was a once in a life time performance, and if you hear the studio version recorded not long after this performance, you will agree.
"That guy's face" with his jaw dropped his name was Marco Antonio Muñiz (t) "the voice" is how he was recognized in the Mexico of yesteryear. He was so impressed by this newcomer's performance... His jaw dropped!
Now feel the music with the lyric: HOW SAD I AM It was sad to said us "goodye" when we were loving us more. Even the woodswallows has gone presaging the end All seems sad without you the seas from the beach are leaving the color are becoming gray Today everything is loneliness I don't know if I'll see you after all I don't know what my life will be without the blue star of your being which doesn't light me up anymore Today I want taste my pain I'm not asking compassion or piety the history of our love was written for the eternity They talk how sad I am, how I'm always talking about you They don't know that thinking about your love has helped me to live Today I want taste my pain I'm not asking compassion or piety the history of our love was written for the eternity They talk how sad I am, how I'm always talking about you They don't know that thinking about your love has helped me to live

Adam, what's funnier is that guy you referenced, who was amazed at José José's singing, is a famous singer called Marco Antonio Muñiz. José Jose is a singer's singer. Much respect for your reaction!
Jose Jose is my favorite crooner of all time! His father was an opera singer; his mother, a classically trained pianist. If you want to hear just how masterful he is in Sinatra-like phrasing, vocal technique, and interpretation you might want to hear his tracks "Amar y Querer," Almohada," and his 1970 cross-over hit in the USA "La Nave del Olvido." Sinatra admired him greatly and wanted to do a collaboration with him, but Jose Jose's record label didn't allow it, for some reason.
He is such a recognized and respected singer, no matter your age in Mexico. There are many songs i would recommend, like "Mi niña", "almohada" and "no me digas que te vas". Every song he sang was totally impressive
José José was jazz and bossanova School,, With lyrical/classical lessons. He studied doble bass since highschool and was a pretty good nylon stringed guitar player... He was a músician Who sang

Do you know that the legendary Frank Sinatra love his voice so much too? Thanks for your reaction, I would like that you react to Luis Miguel, he is a wonderful Latinoamerican singer too.
