My doppelganger! 😂 They say everyone has one, and is it strange that we have so much in common. Both have TH-cam channels, love DIY projects, and value sustainability. Great job on the channel, and I wish you guys much more success. Great personality and lots of valuable information.
Maybe a backrest about six feet tall to just leave the rakes most of the time to avoid constant loading…and wheels on back end? Could then wheel it like a hand truck if you have some extra wheels around. Great project, thanks for sharing.
Andrew great 👍 way to reuse ♻️ things from other things and ruger is getting bigger by the day always good to have a supervisor making sure 👍 that the job is done ✅ right 😮😊❤
You could add some fork pockets on the bottom so you can carry it out and skid logs at the same time. Though you do tend to carry logs with the forks so maybe that isn't worth doing. It was also mess up the height to drop and pick it up. The bolts for grabbing it in the chain slot was brilliant.
Glad you saved that shipping crate...when I was teaching I was always saving things that I might need someday and eventually they were...it's always fun to upcycle and save money in the process.....Love the shirt...it is so you!
Nice idea. Now you got me thinking of modifying a tote cage to hook on same way…or make shift carryall then have a “fork” quick hitch. I have a uniforest winch. I’ll have to look at mounting flanges
Like your idea and plan. When you get tired of trying to line those bolts up try welding in a piece of angle iron flipped over that will sit down in the chain pockets. It will give more strength and more play in alignment. Like your thinking though.
This is a cool idea and you gave me an idea. I think I have some scrap metal from the crate my ZTR came in on. I know it had a metal base but I don't recall if the rest was angle. I need to go find that. I picked up a carry all from Tractor Supply some months ago that I haven't finished up yet. Now I have started welding I have been debating if I should weld something together poorly or do the wood style everyone does. Wood is probably the smart idea but seems less fun. I need it for miscellaneous stuff and also to carry a 55 gallon drum for the occasional fire or watering.
When you had mentioned this before I thought you were going to build or make something using the mesh back stop. But I like this box crate better. Any chance you read my email???
Hey Andrew… Great use of material. Recycle is always good.! Quick question tho…. Noticed how you hook up and lift the carrier. I don’t imagine you have much vertical lift on that 3-point. None of my tractors do. So, won’t the carrier bottom out or drag when crossing low spots on the trails?? As far behind the wheels as it rides, it looks like it might “low center” and possibly detach itself when the carriage bolts ride up in the slots. Just wondering…..??
I had a lot of lift left on this tractor. But keep in mind the permanent home for the winch and basket is my much larger tractor. It lifts that winch way off of the ground. I don't expect any problems other than one hill on my trail that I'll avoid.
Mr. Thinker Tinkerer doing his thing. 😅Love it. See you at 5:00.
See you then
Best use of shipping crate ever.
Good day to all, peace and joy.
That basket will come in handy for you. 🤠
Great idea. Work smarter not harder.
Dang I like the new shirt 👕🤘🏽

Ingenious!

It has feet on bottom, so I can technically pick it up as is with forks.
@@TKCL I was thinking pockets to make it stay on the forks. I've picked up and dropped many things I can technically lift with a set of forks. :)
Came out great, Andrew!
Thank you sir
Just ordered my Overdo shirt. Love it...
Thank you so much for the support

Thank you for watching
Wow wise guy i will build one of those to fit behind my tractor great idea 👍
Go for it!
impressive project!
Great video Andrew
Thank you for watching
Wow great up cycle idea… love it SUCH a great idea and executed flawlessly!! Great shirt also!
Thank you for watching

I hear good things about those winches.

I was thinking about this earlier today (the angle iron). I can easily hook this up by hand if needed.
Repurposing is always a great benefit...very nice rack👍 Love the new shirt, I'm gonna have to figure out how to get me one!💜💜💜
Thank you for watching

You're never going to learn welding if you don't at least try. Don't be scared to fail, that's the best teacher.
Maybe a first aid kit too.
That’s awesome Andrew. I thought about making something outta the steel crate that my Woodmaxx arrived in. -Dave
I made a cart out of my woodmaxx tote as well.
Awesome idea Andrew. I’d just worry about how much those carriage bolts will hold up. Maybe a week point. Just thinking 🤔
Time will tell, there won't be that much weight in there.
For me it's "Over Due, is What I Do"....LOL I procrastinate!!
Lol funny
Hi Andrew, you said you were going to build a carrier for your tools. Looks really nice and out of scrap material. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Thank you
Interesting Idea, would a palletized one for the front not have been an option?
No, because the majority of the time I'll be using this on my John Deere with a grapple.
Awesome repurpose. That would cost few hundred if buying. My tiller came in a crate. Been keeping it for something. May do atv basket rack.
I like reusing things like this.
You can fit Ruger in there as well, lol
Lol sure can

Yes sir I just responded to it.
the bottom hangs aweful low, is there no worry about it clippin things like roots and rocks, or draggin on ruts and such?
Not at all, I didn't have the 3pt lifted all the way up in the video.
@@TKCL ah cool. Was also thinkin some fork skids on bottom would be cool too for grabbing it with tractor forks and such
Typically the forks are full of logs in the last trip out.
@@TKCL I was meaning in case you wanted/needed to adapt the carrier to other chores.
Ahhh I see

I thought you had a plasma
I do
Uno
Got it
thats not a tool box that's a man style clothes basket!
Lol I guess so.
@@TKCL looks good boss! i was just yanking your log chain!
