What can you say man. The guy is a badass. I built several things that he's made and if you follow his instructions you'll get good results. Bravo Mr numa vig
What a pleasure to see you progress over the years. Since you invested in those cutting machines, your plane become quite sophisticated. And always so lightweight.
Stunning beautiful work as always Never been into smaller models especially foam but you make them exquisite functional glorious creations And I'm not exaggerating at all I do want to do this for something new and challenging Thank you for your craft and the beautiful world you create ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Your videos are always relaxing to watch. I can feel the passion through the screen, the dedication you put making those airplanes from scratch is a sight to see. And everytime i'd watch your vids it always amazed me, it so intricate. Keep it up
This is the stuff I miss about the hobby! At this point, you could 3d print your ribs, and many other parts. Laser printing, bang out a new plane each week! :) All that work, was wishing you used monocoat. Foam is cheap though. Beautiful work!
Sorry, but printing airplane parts in 3D doesn't have much to do with model making for me. I know the younger generation does it that way - but it's still not pretty. I learned to build model airplanes 35 years ago, mainly out of wood.
Great video. Building with XPS or similar materials has some advantages (e.g. resistance to damage). For many, the low weight is also an advantage. But building something so light has disadvantages in my opinion. The lower wing loading has a negative effect on the flight pattern and, in stronger winds, on the flight behavior. You can see that at 48:36. I fly a Parkzone Mustang, among others, which weighs an impressive 780 grams with a wingspan of 98 centimeters. Compared to my Easystar 2 (140 centimeters, 900 grams), the Mustang has significantly better flight behavior thanks to its higher wing loading and is also much more fun. My suggestion would be to first coat your Piper with parquet varnish and then paint it with acrylic varnish. That would improve the look of your model, it would be less susceptible to damage and, above all, a higher wing loading would improve the flight behavior and "flight pattern". Otherwise, their construction is very clean and well thought out - simply great!
All your constructions are wonderful. Watching your videos is a pleasure, they are classes with many teachings. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Good landings. Fraternal hugs from Brazil. Todas suas construções são maravilhosas. Assistir seus vídeos é prazeroso, são aulas com muitos ensinamentos. Obrigado por compartilhar seus conhecimentos conosco. As I was watching this it was making my back and chest twinge , you may be wondering why an RC model build would do this , well the answer is simple, I spent a good solid day jammed right up the tail end of a full size PA28 Cherokee (Dakota to be precise) changing autopilot servos and the ribs in the aircraft were digging into me in many places and accessing said location was like a cross between negotiating a military barbed wire training course and performing 500 sit ups non stop and seeing the fuselage you were building made my muscles go " no not again " 😖... just kidding it wasn't that bad but watching your build here is pretty much faithfully reproducing the real thing in miniature, you have amazing skills. When I'm not working on full size aircraft I also like building and fying rc models and one day I might give this one a go Cheers
Hello, how are you? First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the extraordinary work you do in building the AIRPLANE Piper Cherokee model. I am writing to you from Guadalajara, Mexico, and I have not seen the foam products that you use. I have not been able to find them here in Guadalajara. I am asking you what the name of the two foam products that you use to build these beauties is, both in the structure and in the fuselage skin and wing groups. Thank you very much and best regards.
NumaVIG love the planes so far, but would you consider making a fighter jet? Or have you already started one? I'd specifically love to see you make an F-22 Raptor.
For viewers in the US, what kind of foam board are you using? Closest I can find is the dollar tree foam board, but it doesn't work well for any kind of complex shape...
Can you make a video on a RC Yak-3, MiG-3 or I-16. I'm a fan of the Russian warbirds and really want to build a reliable rc plane of those planes. My designs suck major ass.

Lightweight means they will fly realistically.
1300 размаха и 460 грамм веса, просто БРАВО реально огромная работа, такого еще нигде не видел
This is a masterpiece and a challenge to build! Dude you must be a structural aeronautic engineer.
You are at the absolute pinnacle of the craft. Beautiful work.
I love your work and never skipped a minute in one of your videos
Очень классно!!! Особенно маленький нож для резки элеронов просто суппер!!! Восхищаюсь вашим талантом!!!

3D printing materials much heavier than foam and balsa
@@NumaVIG Is there a special reason why you make your models so light?

What about a twin? I'd like to see how you'd do a P-38, Pucara, Ki-46, or Me-410. :)

NumaVIG love the planes so far, but would you consider making a fighter jet? Or have you already started one? I'd specifically love to see you make an F-22 Raptor.
Why the bamboo in the fuselage? Seems like plane is so light it's not needed for strength? Easier to wrap foam over extra longerons?
2-gram motorframe and wing mount connection
For viewers in the US, what kind of foam board are you using? Closest I can find is the dollar tree foam board, but it doesn't work well for any kind of complex shape...
I think it is XPS/depron foam
Awesome

И собственно почему не ставите мотор от SunnySky 2305 к примеру? Чем обусловлен выбор дорогого мотора T-motor?
