Connector go bad, it makes a higher amperage’s and less voltage. Make sure the connector is making a good contact.

I believe you got figured out. I don’t know why people put LED’s on a bike and just start hooking to any power wire. 2xl

So I had dual fans on my 05 GSXR connected to a switch. Fans kicked on normally with the thermo conductor (225 degrees). But the switch was added to cool the bike whenever I wanted. This came in handy during hot summer time riding on the streets. My bike had a heat issue.. damn near fried my left leg on every ride.. turned out to be a malfunctioning thermostat.. the bike never overheated.. just to damn uncomfortable to ride, felt like my leg was on 🔥 every time I rode.
As for the stator.. just start the bike up and unplug and test the prongs for the proper AC voltage, one you have a good battery of course.. rev to 5k rpms and you should see 65v AC across all three terminals in your DM.. pretty sure you know this.
As for the RR - You can also perform the diod test (frwrd/Bwrd) with your DM to see if the readings are consistent across all three prongs.
Show bikes are always a pain in the ass because most of the time all the mods are hack jobs.

Yea that's coming in the next video. This was just a random video I made. I've got the battery now so the diagnosis starts.

Definitely got to have a good rectifier... I prefer mosfet rectifiers.... They burn themselves up, instead of letting it burn up the electronics on the bike. Plus they run cooler and rarely ever go bad.

I bought some of those levers off of Amazon an once installed it would not start bike due to the levers not pushing in the lil clutch safety switch. Did you have that issue ? If so how did you fix it? I heard unplugging the clutch safety switch changes the fuel maps so that’s not a option

Also, great advice on not buying eBay rectifiers. Their stators are just as bad and can possibly fry the ECU and harness.

Hello how is correct voltage for charger system,? I have 13,8 and when open throttle that going lower 13,6 is normal? I think need more voltage when open the throttle or no?

See I've been reading that the 99 to 01 busa sits around 12.9 to 13.5 at 5k rpms. Im doing a bit more research to see.

Unfortunately the charging systems on Suzuki’s are their weak link. I’ve been dealing with it for years on my Gixxers. Ricks Motorsport the way to go for stators and rectifiers.

I was reading about that earlier. Good looking out.

@@DRKKNTRACING yessir. Yeah you are 100% correct on the eBay rectifiers being junk. Never had a good one neither. One even burned up.
