On today's video we are unboxing and reviewing my bro's latest Banggood purchase, the KFPLAN KF10 1:10 scale brushed 550 RC monster truck. It looks like a mini Traxxas X-MAXX clone but for a fraction of the price. But will it perform like a Traxxas mini maxx for the money?

It would be awesome to see you upgrade this truck with shocks and a brushless setup for a future video.😎 I've seen this model with a brushless setup and oil filled shocks but only tested on the street, you wouldn't believe the difference it makes. I would rather see the upgraded version ran in the woods like you did here with stock model in this video.👍 Woods tested is way cooler than street for bashing!
My brothers been tinkering with it. But only with regards to a hotter brushed motor. Oil shocks on it worked a treat though. 😀
Brushless system and oil shocks I think this may be a decent basher 👍🏻✌🏻 If nothing else it would make a great exercise toy for the doggy 😂🤣

hey, I'm a poor man. But I still want the Team Associated MT10. These cheap MTs are tempting, but once you upgrade servo, receiver, motor, esc, and shocks, you've spent more than other cheap MTs with those things already.
I'm hoping some decent cheap MTs come out based on the new plastic wltoys 1/12 scale. The cheap MTs that people rave about like HBX or MJX are just a bit small for the price IMO. I want something slightly bigger, robust, and of course cheap
FTX Ramraider? Brothers got one, and so far, it's proved very robust. Decent size and fairly quick to. 👍😀
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 I can't find the ram raider, but the outlaw desert truck sure looks nice for the price. brushed but probably worth upgrading

@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 since figured out the ramraider is their new platform but very similar :) and i just scored a 2nd hand bugsta today for less than 60 pounds, only needs new steering servo and front cv, but i've got brushless setup on order already doh

Great video. I do like the look of this truck. Especially as I'm unlikely to ever fork out for an Xmax. What ever the truck is called! I did enjoy the banter at the end also. What did you think of the power off-road?

Yeah. It's a sliding scale. Depending on price, it's half to one scale smaller than advertised! 👍🤣
I got this truck today but it doesn't work steadily with the remote controller. Any new experience with spare parts?! And by the way, thanks for your nice rc clips.
When you say doesn't work steadily. Are you referring to the slow speed operation? 👍
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 Hey, thanks for your reply. The slow speed operation is surprisingly fast on mine. Regarding some videos here on TH-cam. Maybe they changed something there during production. Mine actually has problems with the speed turned all the way up. When I turn the dial to about half speed or like 75% it seems ok. But all turned up it reacts to any steering or throttle command from the remote randomly. It also sometimes runs on although I stopped pushing throttle on remote. Absolutely unusable...
@user-of5zj2br9e that is strange! We didn't notice anything like that while running the truck. Could yours have a suppression issue? Check the end of the motor perhaps a diode isn't performing?
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 I thought about changing the motor to the etronix you used. Do you think this should work with the standard ESC?
