Thanks Flat6! Customer support does not seem to speak english all that well and they give me instructions that are all but impossible to decipher. I suspect the software in my particular unit is in fact, not current. I plan to call Innova to see if their 5610 will do what I want my new scanner to do. Then I will return the ICarsoft.
This video somehow came up when searching for resetting oil maintenance indicator on the Porsche Cayenne 2021. I have the Icarsoft PORII and it definitely does no reset Service indicators on 9YO (Model Year 2019+ Cayennes). It's been stated that Autel and Launch can, but have not tried them.
It looks like the date entered is the year first (4 digits), then the month (2 digits) , and the day ( 2 digits). Is that the correct order to input the new service interval date?
Still cannoy get this to work on my 2017 Panamera 4! Customer support is worthless. There seems to be an issue with this canner working with 2017 or newer Porsches. Again...customer service worthless!
Did you reach out to iCarsoft on this? I'd make sure you are running the latest software/firmware versions. We have found some functions don't cooperate on certain ECUs but we don't have enough broad experience with specific functions on a volume of ECUs. The newer stuff seems more spotty.
This should work on a 992. We don't do oil service here so we don't get a lot of opportunities to reset oil lights. I have used it on a 992 to clear fault codes though.
@@Flat6Motorsports i bought directly from them. like 2 years ago. i can do for boxster but not my 992. I sent email and nothing. I think i have the POR 2

Thanks for the info. Will this tool also turn on options. I have a 987 that losses heated seats if the battery gets disconnected.
Have a por v2.0 super easy to reset the Macan oil reminder

Correct, Year/Month/Day
Heard v3.0 works on 992 platform. Can you guys confirm or deny please? Thanks!
We have not confirmed but will try next time we have a 992 in.

Do we have a 992 - 911 solution yet? Amazing, almost 4+ years into this model line and NO SOLUTIONS!!!

@@Flat6Motorsports Thanks. Can you please follow-up with a bi-directional test? Many clear codes, but dont reset. Much appreciated!!!
This does not work with 992 yet. I just purchased it, updated software, and to no avail. Had to return it.
@@Flat6Motorsports does this computer work to reset oil intervals on a Panamera 971 2018 Turbo?
@@blackvert18 yes, it should for oil intervals.
so where is the port to plug into PLEASE
Under the dash near the footwell, it will be a purple female plug
does it work on a panamera 971?
We've had mixed results so I'd say no for now.
just got an iCarsoft POR v2.0 and it does not work.

You need to choose the VIN input rather than vehicle type when resetting the vehicle. Make sure the ignition is on, engine idling.
Won't let me pass the date
Use the VIN input rather than the vehicle model. Then you can type in the date and time.
Do not buy this piece of shit. i bought one to reset my Porsche 992 and doesn't work. i call the company like 200 time and never respond.
Not sure who you purchased from but it currently only has support through the 991. There CR Max has support for functions on the 992.
