Hi Great Tutorial! Deffo thumbs up easy to follow and well informed. I was wondering - could you show me how to do a sequence with texts. I want to chop and onion and with each chop of the knife I would like letters to spin / tumble out (as if they are onion) and grow out to become the title. Is it a matter of using various techniques and then doing the copy paste (like above) for each letter? Thanks anyway and keep up the great work
He works on a Mac,so he pressed buttons "option" or "alt"(in windows) + "]"(this is the same everywhere) to cut the length of the layer of the word "welcome"

Yes, It will work with anything... Images, text, video... You might just have to tinker a little bit here and there to get it to look nice (like add a nice shine or glimmer as they rotate)

it's happening maybe because your second text layer starting from the beginning with the first text , try putting your second text few frames before the first text layer animation ends , hope this will help you

i had this prob to...its jus as "jus playa" says, but u have to make sure ur "text 1" comp is choosin also or u will hit those keys and get nothin

it was my 1st option, after a while of testing i didn't find a lot of fonts that i wanted to download
try google1001 fonts, dafonts is only good for headers..

When I rotate the type on the Y it doesn't rotate the way it rotates for you. It stretches out sideways. Anyway to fix this?

The x and y axis is not showing in middle of the text in my AE, how to fix it?
Have you enabled 3D? (the cube icon at the top, then click on the corresponding layer box you want it to affect)
I have same problem too, the axis was at left bottom not in middle, and I had enable the 3D
And when I do that my text disappear!!! HELP!Pls :)

Just go to Edit . Cut . then delete the part that you cutted
