Its defined more by its mechanism.
My point is, a shotgun firing slugs, not buckshot, is reasonably accurate.

Seems like it’s recieved a boost to fire rate. Nice to know that they brought the internals up to date as well.
It didn’t. While that would be nice, the ROF difference is just a matter of battery level. As batteries discharge, their voltage drops. Voltage directly affects rpm of the dc motors in the rapid strike, so it’s only natural that it would be slower
@@paulyd4978 with fully charged batteries the rapidstrike shoots as fast as demonstrated in the video proving that, yes it shoots faster and, yes coop is not an idiot

Is it just me, or is the stratohawk's rate of fire higher than than the original rapid strike? That's what it looked liked in the noise comparison, but I'm not sure.

Is it just me, or when he was comparing the rapidstrike with the "Stratohawk", was the fire rate faster with the "Stratohawk"?
It is faster,because I have a rapid strike and its having some bad feeding issues.
I also removed the clear friction piece over the barrel in front of the barrel,and now it sounds way louder... guess it had a reason

It would be great if it had hyperfire style angled flywheels, cause it would make the dart rotate on its own axis which makes it more accurate.

I know this comment is late, but I have no choice to use them because my modulus causes waffle heads to jam because the flaps inside of the blaster catch the holes inside of the waffle head holes so I have to use flat plain tipped darts ;(
At least there better than the modulus darts those things are actually crap
@@moritro guess what, couple days ago I started using waffle heads again and they don’t jam anymore :D only a couple hiccups here and there but otherwise much better performance
honestly, this the coolest looking blaster to me with all of the attachments, and it looks full of tactics, and it has a pretty decent size drum mag

Very much glad that this is here. And a real thing. I’ve been waiting for it to hit shelves as soon as I heard rumors for it. Unfortunately I do wish the longstrike and this were switched around to where the new longstrike was an accustrike blaster and the new rapidstrike was a modulus blaster because of the holy tactics amount of rails. It totally would’ve made more sense, but I agree with you on just being thankful that the rapidstrike is back lol. Thanks for bringing us this review!

Fun Fact: They used the old shells from the Rapidstrike(they just used the old mold for the rapidstrike shell) which is why there's "2012 Hasbro" written on it
Personally I see mo more use for the hyper fire, (due to the regulator having the same advantages and more) but the rapidstrike is still very relevant, therefore I love that they made this

Coop, I think they used the redesign pusher mechanism that they used in the infinus, which is louder, but is much faster. You were firing much faster than your old rapidstrike
I just got that gun for my birthday, and it is awesome!!! I also have the rapidstrike, I bought mine when it first came out in 2012.
I still want this one. I actually myself bought a rapidstrike for Christmas last year. I love it.

I always chuckle to myself when you talk about the collapsed positions of stocks being mostly unusable being almost a foot shorter than you the extended positions are almost unusable for me!
I like the scope more than the modulus scope. Also I think the stratohawk sounds more satisfying

It might have been a better idea to add the New Rapid Strike to the Modulus line and the new Longstrike into the Accustrike line. That would've made a lot more sense but still it's great to see some of the classics have a new lease of life.

Well rapidstrikes are kinda hard to buy new and used ones are pretty expensive so this is nice for people who don’t have one, along with the 25 drum (which I personally don’t have) and modulus scope

Its a G36 with a drum magazine. I love G36's 'cause its fun to use and the round is very powerful.
