yeah, the yellow Recon was a proper grenadier sight. this one is sort of a faux grenadier sight, with a drop reference frame that flips up, but ultimately just an iron sight. yellow Recon had an iron sight plus a proper grenadier sight, where you slid the targeting ring up to the range of your target then aimed so that the iron sight and targeting ring align with the target.

I don't think it's coming back, Jim. That's just part of the Nerf business model though. Produce limited runs of everything to create artificial scarcity and make reskins of the few cases where they create something that isn't a total waste of plastic for even more money.
If you see something you really want and you're sure you're okay with Hasbro's behavior, just get it right then and there if it's some super-expensive blaster like this. The more common ones can just be gotten used later on.

So with the rail adapter, the 45’ angle is great if you ran a scope and wanted to put a red dot on the side. You angle the gun slightly and get different close quarters capability. Don’t think it would help with nerf as I don’t think they magnify, but that’s what it’s for

The demolisher was always my favorite gun. It’s basically a strife except it has a launcher to knock down soft walls or forts. I would always just knock down the walls then spray into the enemy fort. Loved this thing. I think me second favorite is the rival Apollo and all of the ones that are basically the Apollo.

I absolutely hated how they put all these good attachments on the demolisher. The demolisher is one of my favourite Nerf blasters ever (don’t @ me) but I already have the original orange one. And when I got it it was around $70 AU which was already expensive. But now they put all these really great attachments on an already expensive blaster (I’m in NSW and at the moment, it is the most expensive blaster in store - $130). If they put most of attachments on the Stryfe which is a cheaper blaster, that will boost the price up to a good price everyone can buy. And if they already have a stryfe, who doesn’t want another?! I have one and I want another. But still, if they only put about half of the attachments that came with the new demolisher onto the stryfe, people who don’t/can’t buy it can still retrieve them if they put the other half into separate Modulus packs (like the storage stock) for reasonable prices ($10), many people can still get all these freaking sweet attachments. Now I believe this system would be way better because instead of mass producing an expensive item not everyone needs/can get, people will buy other products in large quantities. Re-release the Modulus demolisher by all means please, I love it, but only have one attachment from the new Modulus added to it (have the three missile storage attachment). Now I believe nerf hasn’t usually been a brand that is only out for money. If they weren’t, they wouldn’t have started the rival series or ended the rebelle series (sometime they will do a cashgrap because they need to make money for their workers. I felt like the surgefire was a cashgrap due to it being an excellent concept on the outside but with how it skips many darts, the excecution was horrible). But overall, I’m really disappointed with hasbro and this blaster. I’m proud of them with the attachments, but also very disappointed with the attempted cash grab. For those who read my comment, 1. Congratulations for reading it all, I give you a hypothetical high five. 2. If I weren’t a dependant - 14 years old - I wouldn’t have put out this text message because I only receive money for Christmas and my birthday and I have to spend that money wisely. But if I were 16-18 with a part-time job, I would pick up a few more shifts and have the blaster in my hands in a week. 3. Please respond and share your opinion. Do you agree or disagree, and is anyone in the position I am. Thanks for reading and hopefully, Hasbro will see comments like these and release the attachments in seperate pack.
