If you’re up for a suggestion, maybe turn the camera around once you start to open the pack so the viewer sees the cards at the same time you do. If you check out other channels featuring packs being open, they all do it that way. Just an idea. Love 80s and early 90s hockey cards.
I’m working on it. I get it, no one wants to see my ugly mug🤪. I just did a practice run with a new app. I had a couple fails but still posted the video as a bonus break on Dec. 12. Let me know.
Wasn’t that crazy? Two random packs from two years. I do notice a pattern when opening these pack, the same players seem to be in the same collation and packs. But from two different years is funny!
You were right on Maruk the 1st time (Ma-rook). Old people like me remember Lanny McDonald with the Leafs. They made a big mistake getting rid of him. Tanti is pronounced like the tan in suntan. You reopened the WHA pack with great pronunciation! Looks and sounds like it was a fun Moody Blues concert. How many original members are still in the band? Sounds like they were using some backing tracks for the orchestral parts, but I guess it's difficult to tour with an orchestra. Were you at the Canadiens big OT win in Columbus? That win will propel them into the playoffs! Okay, maybe not, considering that they're actually in 31st place 😭
Thanks for all your help! This was John Lodge, bass player from the Moody Blues and his band. Justin Hayward is also touring with his band, don't know if they will ever reunite...Lodge is 81! Yes, the Keyboard player arranged and orchestrated the heck out of that, including the cello player on stage, they did a nice job with that mostly orchestral album...I'm sure there were some tracks helping along the way. My friend is doing his video tech work, so I had free tickets. I was most recently at the CBJ win over Calgary, my son was at the Montreal game. I split my season tickets with a group including my two sons.
@@Hockeytube19 I bought a ticket to see Bachman-Turner Overdrive next May. Randy Bachman is the only original member in the touring band (no Turner) and he's also 81. I'm also going to see Heart (with Cheap Trick opening; bought mostly to see Cheap Trick) in April. That concert was rescheduled from this year because lead singer Ann Wilson had to undergo cancer treatments, which were successful. I recently saw Billy Idol, The Cult, and an '80s festival with a bunch of bands (3 separate concerts). I didn't see all of them in their prime, so I figure I should go see them while I still have the chance!
@@montrealsports29 Nice! Ive' seen all those (back in the day) except for Heart. I'm all about live music, in 2024 I've been to about 50 concerts, well over 50 bands (Haircut 100, ABC, Howard Jones did a combined thing). I do some touring, crew, merch work for bands so I get to a lot of shows for free.
@@Hockeytube19 That's cool! In my younger years, I didn't go to that many concerts so I'm making up for it in my (almost) old age. I also saw The Cure last year (I knew I was forgetting to mention someone).
@@montrealsports29 I'm doing the same, the 90's were very lean years, very few concerts with two young kids at home and not living near any major venues. I'm making up for it now! I have a list of all the shows and concerts I've been too: 448 concert dates, 531 bands!
I never get tired of these old pack breaks!
Thanks! I'll keep em going as long as I can...
Pro hockey alumni podcast did a great story on Wickenheiser. Great packs. Lots of fun.
10 year career, 556 games, not bad at all. I will search that podcast. Thanks!
I just watched a good video on Wickenheiser, what an up and down career and sad ending for him and his young family, 1961-1999.
Moe Mantha is one of the greatest names in hockey history.
Nice Adam Oates rookie. I have one myself.
Agree! Yes, glad to get the Oates finally, now looking for Robitaille! Crazy how similar the packs were.

How did you manage to get the same players in the packs?? What a fun pack rip.

Have an Yzerman autographed rookie
