Drums are great. No friction loss when not being used.
Your dog totally took advantage of you when you were at your most vulnerable 😂😂😂

Hey man, it’s awesome you’re filming this. I went with the total Chaos long travel, Kings and Deavers on my 87 4Runner. I searched everywhere for someone who’d done this to a Toyota but couldn’t find anything. The TC kit has no instructions and really shitty black and white pictures. It’s cool to see you putting everything I put on mine, even down to the willwood proportioning valve. Nice work, it looks great.

Thank you so much for the comment! I will say the JD kit instructions were the same way. 8.5 x 11 black and white printer paper. It was 6 or 7 black and white photos.

do you think the stock solid axles that come on the 1985 1st gen need any reinforcement or replacing for higher speed off-roading and some crawling? awesome build dude!

As light as these 4runners are and strong as the axle is with a smaller tire I’m sure they are fine stock. However as cheap and easy to find as reinforcements are I would weld one on because in the end that investment now could save you the time of replacing an axle and all the costs that go with. Thanks for watching and reaching out. Next Toyota I build will definitely be a solid axle! Hopefully I can get my wheeling video out this week!

What is the advantage of the tundra/t100 rear axel

@@KyleKarsten-zv9iq I original went with one because it was the right width. 1/2 in less than the front. Beyond that it is a 8.4 inch ring gear vs the 8 inch. Slight size difference in ring and pinion.
