The DXP2>Data location for the camera mod will work just fine, doesn't actually matter which 'Data' folder it goes in. Not the same for Game Of The Year and Winter Assault, they have to go in a different (WH40k) folder. Also, not sure if you mentioned in the video; but you need to ensure that you have 3d camera enabled in DOW graphics settings for it to work.
Ehhh isn't 3d camera usually enabled by everyone either way? Yeah it is definitely kinda different for GOTY ans WA but well... those aren't played as much a little off the beaten path. Either work fine, I personally just use this one. The other might be a little less jank for unit attachments and some abilities, however. Try them both see what feels best for you but neither is wrong

An unrelated question: you made a Dark Eldar guide and to summerize it you said "if you don't win in the very early game you pretty much lost". Isn't there ANY way for DE to play against mass anti-infantary ranged races like Space Marines, Imperial Guard or something like this? I Play this game mostly because of how cool I find some of the factions (my favorites are Orks and Dark Eldar). While with Ork I kinda know how to respond to almost anything, with DE it really seems impossible. So, is DE simply shitty in the late game then?
Well it's moreso specific to being against chaos on that one but it isn't impossible. You can do a quick addition of warrior/raider. But in all reality you need to get to wyches and ravagers immediately. Against space marines and the like it'll absolutely work. It just depends on if you can survive the swing back. But for chaos? They will push you in pronto with their 3-5 defilers looking for the kill and neither raiders nor scourges are a very good answer to that. But DE being early game focused is totally fine there's nothing wrong with that just understand it's where you are strongest and understand where you need to go from there if it does pan out in T1-1.5
DE can be devastating to blobs but it's a lot of work. You want to open blob fights by killing their morale with your soul ability then using a soulstorm on their long ranger anti-infantry infantry. Then open with your meat shields, Talos are good if there's room but otherwise are too bulky, in which case jetbikes & ravens could work, ravens can also disable some of the dangerous vehicles like basilisks. Then you use your Dais ability, he should be chilling with his Ravagers, I'd use these guys to focus down your main threats since they're ranged units- you can also use your refresh soul ability to use the Dais slice twice. Once your vehicles & abilities have started, then's the time to send in your army, I generally find Archon+2Wych+2WarpBeast+2Scourge works best, use the Archon's ability to shut down the most dangerous squad & try to juggle your combat drugs to keep your warp beats dealing as much damage as possible, if it's especially compact, it might pay to use your Wych in range stance- Don't ever use the refresh soul ability on Wyches, Combat Drugs are OP, but for some reason Rekindle is bugged & prevents you from using it ever again on that squad, making them nearly worthless. Lastly, use your Scourges to focus down things like Baneblades, basilisks, etc- you can use the corruption thing to weaken their armour. --- 1v1, blob vs blob, DE are particularly strong, the issue is on larger maps(such as 8 player FFAs) or super long games, they have very little 'instant mobility', like deepstrikes, teleports, webways, etc, Scourges are solid but unremarkable, Raiders are terribly inefficient & Ravens lack power so you're kinda fucked if there's a lotta impassable terrain- on top of their lack of defencive structures & weak ranged units, make them by far the worst defencive race in the game, & because of how melee focused their army is, you usually to have to commit more to actually win blob fights which leaves your bases entirely undefended- to deep strikes, webway shenanigans, Monolith drops, Stealthsuit+Barracuda spam & so on.
@@TheChristopherJack dude, you're spot on. I usually go 3 scourges instead of 2 wyches. I even let them doing full infantry damage (without dark lances) if the situations call for that. I always felt like the developers created them to ALWAYS play around their abilities, which might be fine sometimes (but still a little underpowered in long games and big maps, like you said), mainly because of their lack of towers and long-range fire. That's their biggest mistake on DE imo. They don't even get mines, and their Towers of Loathing are not THAT great either, specially having to make up to all these lacking points.
