  • Detailed unboxing of the Bosch IXO 6 Variable-Speed Cordless Screwdriver. This is the first time Bosch have included a variable speed motor in their cordless screwdriver. There are plenty of accessories to chose from.. just choose wisely, since they're priced at about £17 each, which isn't cheap, but they're pretty well made.
    You can pick up the Bosch IXO 6 for about £33 if you wait and get it on sale, which I think is a good price; amzn.to/3qluQDp
    The torque adapter I show in the video has been down to £14 in the past; amzn.to/2Ot4Use

    Excellent review thank you.
    I was just thinking "I hope that the soft touch handle isn't the type that xyz country manufactures and goes sticky after a year". Thanks for pointing out that it isnt!👍😊
    Good advice about the adaptors, I'd come to a similar conclusion.
    I'm torn between the version 5 and the version 6. The version 6 case is pretty practical, that might swing it too.

      Thanks!! The 6 case is really good.. I have a load of tips/adapters/wotnots inside (lift out the plastic insert & there’s loads of room for all sorts in there!).

    Nice review. I was literally just setting a price watch for the torque accessory before you mentioned it :)

      Great minds…! 😀 Fingers crossed it’ll come up on a discount for you soon. Gotta say, I’ve not used that attachment much, but I guess I’ve not been putting together any Ikea furniture recently, which is usually when I’d want that.

      Indeed. I do a bit of laptop and desktop re-assembly so the idea of lowering the torque for the more-delicate screws is appealing.
      I'm keen on the offset attachment as well for tighter spaces, pity it's either-or though.
      It's surprising that Bosch has overlooked magnetic bits, they're a game-changer for any screwdriver.

    Hi. Thanks for video. Is it possible to use it as a passive screwdriver to tighten a screw manually with more torque than the motor can provide?

      @Endpoint101  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes.. I've done that a bunch of times with it 🙂

    I like the variable speed control, but also like the PSR, which has the bits internally and you cna switch them in and out. never have to carry bits with it etc. Wish it had speed control also

      The PSR looks really cool too ;)

    Hi do you what the difference is between the "green old" and "green new" variants on Amazon? Is it purely just the colour? Thanks

    • @Endpoint101
      @Endpoint101  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Functionally from what I can see they’re identical.. it’s just the colour on things like the trigger that are different. If it were me I’d pick whichever was cheaper 🙂
