You plan on doing an updated version of these for 2.0 ? When I first got into X-Wing your top lists really helped me out in choosing a faction and which ships to get...( of course this digressed into a Xwing version of Pokemon...Gotta git um all.
Much Scyk love here too. That ship was my first X-Wing purchase and I love the low cost versatility of fitting such a wide variety of cannons within a ship. Plus, the abilities of Serissu, Genesis Red and the low cost of Inaldra fit almost every list I make. The Tansari Point Station lineage is thematically fun too.
I love my bumpmaster. I've hardly flown it in any other way, but my contracted scout: adaptability, Boshek, Anti-Pursit Lasers, is such a game changer that people adjust how they fly against me. I love that ship.
The M3-A's can be a lot of fun! They just need someone to take the heat off of them so they don't just pop. I guess Serrisu is there for a reason! Heha
Yeah, the protectorate is my favorite scum ship by far. Incredibly agile, great movement dial, and like you said, the play style totally fits me too. All or nothing baby!
I keep trying to fly other scum builds, but I keep coming back to Fenn Rau with Expertise. He loses the +1 damage of fearlessness, but he makes up for it by getting so many more hits at every other angle. Combine expertise with advanced proton torps, and he's expensive... but he's also almost guaranteed 6 solid hits.
The interceptor over top of the jumpmaster your effing nuts. List jugular definitely disagrees with you. Opinion outside the jumpmaster is such a good platform that if it isn't number one it is number two. If you're injecting opinion about what you like aesthetically then this countdown should be called my favorite top 10 not just top 10 best
The Quadjumper may be not just the worst Scum ship, but the worst ship in the whole game in general. I have never made it work, nor have I ever had a problem going against it.
Francisco Guerra the Quad is just a technical ship. Think a blue deck in magic. It's all about controlling your opponent. Indirect battle not direct. It's hard to use but I have seen people wreck a solid party bus list when the quad first came out. But it's definitely not a ship for everyone, but still viable.
The M3 is Wave 6 and the Fang Fighter is Wave 9 (we're already looking at 12/13). Only the Scurrg can really be called "new" at this stage, man, and it is a good ship without being overpowered.

I won an escalation tournament with straight-up M3A's. Final round was against 5 large ships and my little M3A's ate them up!

Well I would have added the Slave1 in there somewhere. It's just so versatile, survivable and a great compliment to most other large ship pairings.

Burnout Slam on a YV-666 is hilarious. Like nitrous on a Winnebago.

The more competitive a ship is the less I like it, but if it's just no good then I don't like it either. So the yv-666, g1-a and y wing are my top 3

I absolutely called it my opinion right at the beginning of the video. All my countdowns are 100% my opinion.
