God threw it down and divided everyone. It preserves diversity. Then it goes on to say that you shouldn't be deceived by the outside appearance but look for their character. That appearance can be deceiving. Etc etc. The obvious stuff.
God loves diversity so much that we were separated to ensure that our uniqueness is preserved. Human biodiversity means we are less likely to be killed off by disease.
