President Trump addresses the World Economic Forum
On Thursday morning, President Donald Trump appeared via video conference in front of a packed crowd at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. In his speech, Trump stated that he believes the United State’s European allies “treat the United States very, very unfairly.” The problem with that line of thinking is that “fair” can be a rather nebulous concept. While there are a number of lessons we can take from the president’s speech and the global response, that understanding of fairness is, perhaps, the most relevant to each of our lives today.

These issues are both biblical and political, with complex implications for our society today. Was this appeal the right thing to do, or w...

These ideas are bizarre. There are mothers and fathers. There are boys and girls. Every person made in Imago Dei is truth. Those who follow Jesus listen to what Jesus said which is to love God with all their hearts, minds and souls & our neighbor as ourself.

I'm 22 have been diagnosed with cancer twice, second time it came back in my brain which really effected me...from my memory to cognition, and also have epilepsy that part is what's effected me the most, I used to be very sharp and had great memory, not to mention my entire family hasn't been there, suicide has been on my mind but I don't know what's keeping me going and I often question God why put me through this, why put my mother through this, not to mention other children and even babies, lately I've even been questioning God's existence but going on my brain cancer diagnosis I believe I had a near death experience in my hospital room because I saw a girl who had passed away at my high school standing in the corner of the room just smiling, also my Grandmother, I only saw her face, she looked pretty democratic and angry, was truly terrifying then I was rushed into surgery

A SIMPLE SEED You can plant a miracle Imagine I have a small seed in my hand, and I show it to you. You have no problem recognizing it as a seed. This seed just so happens to be an acorn. Now let's say we plant this acorn in your back yard. We water it and fertilize it and wait for it to grow. If we came back the next day and that acorn seed sprouted into a fully mature oak tree, such a sight would be incredibly amazing. It would be nothing short of miraculous. Now imagine if we planted that acorn, and it grew into an oak tree within a few days, then that would be miraculous too. If we planted that acorn in the ground, and it grew into a mature oak tree within a few weeks with lush green leaves and dark brown bark, it would be no less miraculous than before. Now, if we planted that acorn into the ground and it grew into an oak tree within months...well, you may begin to realize at this point that it is not how fast the acorn becomes an oak tree that makes it miraculous. The very fact that the acorn becomes an oak tree is miraculous. It doesn't matter about time, time is irrelevant, and that is not the point. The fact that a seed can become a tree is miraculous on its own. We have to learn to understand this, that a simple seed can be proof enough. It is a charming example and subtle proof. Our Universe is filled with these little types of miracles. www.amazon.com/Possible-Impossible-Probable-Proof-exists/dp/B088B4SKSK/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=tony+tymstra&qid=1607226097&s=books&sr=1-1
