The biggest fear of going darkside on a bagger is the fear itself. 12,000 miles on mine and the tire still looks almost new and handles great. The speedometer difference has probably saved me a ticket too.

On the vics you can pull the bolt that holds the shock in place and the swing arm will drop so you don’t have to pull the muffler

I know several people that ride Darkside and I haven't heard not one of them that regrets it, good job Yogi brother 💯✌️😎

Love the darkside, first started running it in 2006, when it was very unpopular with the community..they all thought I was going to be in a heap somewhere on the backroads.
Yes there is a difference, however “harder” to turn should really be defined as….nothing of noteworthy. It took maybe 5min to adjust and it was very intuitive thereafter.
In fact, running the Dragon, scraping the boards all the way. Wet weather stopping gained was astounding….not to mention riding 20K a year, the cost savings are in the thousands. I would not buy a bike that I could not fit a CT on.

I think the takeoff tire would not be road captain approved. Enjoyed the raw footage. Its was almost like being there.

Great vid at the end. Rider feedback was great.
But, not one mention of the tire Brand or size for that Victory.
It’s the details that make all the difference.
I wanted to know which tire was chosen.
Didn’t learn anything except watching guys toying around in a garage.

You did a whole lot of unnecessary work to remove that wheel. Next time pull the lower shock linkage, the swingarm drops just enough to pull the axel out. Don't even touch the brake caliper.

Thanks for posting appreciate whether I personally go dark side or not probably will but smart enough to know we are being ripped off by MC tar company with Ludacris high prices with no miles people on big baggers that actually ride no bark wings should think about it

Yes sir. “Dyna balance beads”. There is a good TH-cam video on them using a water bottle to explain the premise.

I have the same question as Chuck and I have a feeling it’s the car tire thing. Like I said I don’t promote it, do it at your own risk but if you want it I will help ya put it on. If you later want it off I will take it off also.
