- Hi all Brendan here,
The release of 1.9.6 brings Query sort, filter, and live search to Bricks Builder. Add facet filtering for WooCommerce, CPTs, and all and all pages, posts, taxonomies, and other metadata. As of this recording and release, the feature is still in experimental mode....So I decided to install it on my dad's website I made for him! Living on the edge, as they say. Very pleased with this feature. I suspect I will be using it quite a lot on smaller sites, despite having WP Gridbuilder LTD, just to keep the site leaner with fewer dependencies. I don't know if it'll replace the more advanced query features in GridBuilder, but for many projects, this will work wonderfully. How will you use this feature?

Thanks for coming out with a video about this so soon after the release. The plays are CPTs? Or just regular posts?
These are acf CPTs. The drop down lets you select any query it seems. Thx for watching.
does this filter works on ACF fields ? I tried in the query things but cant find any.
i'd have to check, but i'd assume so, since it just seems to read whatever query you select.
Yes it does
@@SparaCashthanks, are you sure ? You tested it ?
@@adamu6941 Yes, at least ordering by ACF fields. In the query loop choose "Order By" -> "Meta Value" and write your ACF key for the field
@@adamu6941 yes i tested it, just select order by and meta value and insert the acf key
Can it filter users?
i'm not sure it shows Users as a "Source" by default, but there is a "Custom Field" option for the data course for the filters
Technically it shouldn’t work on Shakespeare’s work. Everything he wrote was an historical romantic tragi comedy.
you aren't wrong! i just had to move julius caeser from history to tragedy! why not both!? Seems to be some capricious choices.
